Perrie's Pov
Jade was on my mind all night. As weird as it sounds, she's been in my thoughts for a while ever since I first saw her in the coffee shop. She's even more beautiful than the last time I saw her. I got her a necklace for Christmas and I hope she likes it because it was pretty expensive as well.
I walked out my home before saying goodbye to my mom and dug my hands in my pocket, looking at my feet. I took out my phone and texted Jade quickly.
Me: Hey, you home?
Jade : Yeah , why?
Me: Is it ok if I come over?
Jade : No one's home so sure.
Me: Cool, I'll be there soon
I walked to Jade's house since I didn't feel like driving and buzzed on the bell, waiting for Jade to open the door. Once I opened, my heartbeat sped up and the next think I knew, I was a stuttering mess.
"H-hi...Jade."
"Come in."
I stepped inside her house and smiled. I haven't been here in years. It's still pretty much the same.
"Do you want hot chocolate or tea?"
"Hot chocolate, please."
I took off my jacket and sat on her couch, playing with my fingers. Why am I so nervous? Jade came back with two cups and gave one to me while she held the other one. I faced her and she held one of the pillows from the couch, facing me as well.
"So, I've been thinking for a while and...I think I should give you another chance as being my friend. Even my own best friend thinks I should as well so I'm going to."
"Really!?"
She laughed, "Yes, really and as friends, I want to hear about your career as a pop star."
I blushed, "Well, I mean, I mean it's fun..- no, it'd fucking awesome and also a bit tiresome. The paps are annoying, especially when they ask stupid questions and try to get involved with your life."
Jade nodded and took a sip of her hot chocolate.
"I heard you were about to release a new album. When is that?"
"Soon. I'm not giving any details yet. I'm not even done with it yet. I have more songs to write."
"Wanna give me a sneak peek?" She asked.
"Nope. It's a secret. Have you even listened to any of my songs?"
"...Well, I couldn't bare it. It uh, it hurt too much to hear your voice."
Her eyes lowered and I sighed, placing my cup on the table in front of us.
"I'm really sorry about that Jade."
"No, it's alright. I'll just have to remove that memory from my head" she said.
"I was an ass in high school, I probably am one now...taking advantage of all those girls just for my pleasure but...I'm really trying to change Jade. It's just hard."
"I think I could help you with that."
"How?" I asked.
"Well, there's this girl as well who also lives in South Shield as well. She goes to my school and she's a fan of yours. She's your age and I think she's someone's you'll like."
Dating a fan? Oh boy.
"Uh, I don't know..."
"Dont worry. She may freak out a little but she's really cool once you get to know her. What do you say?"
