Pic of Tyler above!

Chapter 7
"Hey Sunshine."

I looked up to see Daniel staring down at me. I tried to sit up but felt a throbbing pain in my head that convinced me to lie back down. Ugh. I felt like shit.

I was in the nurse's office at school.

"What the hell happened?" I asked him, squinting my eyes, not being able to withstand the harsh light that lit the nurse's office.

"You kinda fainted when you saw Mr. Pretty Boy over there," Daniel explained, pointing to...

Tyler.

Tyler?

Tyler got up and came over to me.

"How's it going bestie?" he asked, giving me the widest smile he could manage while holding out his arms, as if expecting a hug.

Ignoring the throbbing in my head which was getting weaker anyway, I forced myself into a sitting position. Then, with all the strength I had in me, I got up and made my way over to my best friend. Was this a dream? I pinched myself in a moment of disbelief and Tyler chuckled. This is real.

Just as I was about to reach him...

"Whoa there, princesa. You still need to get some rest. Nobody expected you to faint so when you did, no one was there to catch you. It was too late and you hit your head pretty hard," Daniel explained, putting his hands on my cheeks and lifting my face so I was looking at him. Tyler stared at us skeptically as if wondering if there was something else going on.

"I don't fell injured," I spat, removing his hands from my cheeks. "Are you seriously gonna keep me from seeing my best friend?" I asked, shifting so I could spot Tyler standing behind Daniel.

"Best friend? I guess it's ok if he's just a friend," Daniel whispered, only so that I could hear what he was saying. Possessive son of a bitch.

A muscle in my jaw twitched in annoyance as I stared up at Daniel.

"So overdramatic," I could hear Daniel mutter as he went back to sit in the blue plastic chair he was seated in.

Ignoring his remark, I ran up to Tyler and threw my arms around his neck. He tightened his arms around my waist, picking me up and spinning me around. I giggled in pure delight. Tyler.

I could feel the tears rolling down me face as I stared up at him. He'd changed. A lot.

His hair, which was usually styled in a buzz cut had now grown. He'd gotten so much taller and had obviously been working out. His muscles bulged under his shirt which only made my mouth water even more.

Victoria, snap out of it! This is your best friend you're talking about! I thought.

Wow, I was one horny little slut.

I could see tears welling up in Tyler's eyes as well.

"I'm so sorry Tori. I should've-" Tyler started, pulling away to look at me.

"No. Don't be sorry. I'm just glad you're here now. You can explain later," I said, giving him a reassuring pat on the shoulder.

I enveloped him in another tight hug. I was practically sobbing now.

"I missed you so much," I told him.

"I missed you more, Tori," he said back, running his hands through my hair as I rubbed his back. Tyler.
