I watched as family and friends left leaving 'us' behind.
"Jeremiah" Brenda said.

"---wtf is this shit ?" Kai spat. "I named my son after you I cherished you I never had you by my side as a grew up and you wanna come back talking about explain"

Everyone went into the front room as dad stood at the front.
"Look...once that shooting went off and everyone was at the hospital the police threatened to put me and Jordan in jail...I couldn't have that so I pleaded Jordan so he got off and I was stuck on probation but in new York, I had to move there to their jail because they found me a threat here I didn't have a phone nothing luckily I knew Jordans number by heart and called him I sent him money which is why yall been living good...is didn't wanna be in jail for life so I decided on probation away from my family and I'm sorry" he said sighing.
I wiped my tears and stood up hugging him. Kai eventually joined the hug alongside Brenda, then the kids joined, the Jordan and Brenda.
"Mum" Dad said looking at her.
She had tears streaming down her face.
"I'm just happy your home now" she said finally giving him a hug.
"All I need now is----"
Kam ran In the house and into dad's arms.
"I'm sorry dad"
He cradled her as they both started crying.
"I'm just happy your back now I'm sorry" she said sobbing harder.
He kissed her forhead and smiled weakly.
"Well ain't this a party ?" Kai yelled.
"LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED" Jordan yelled too.
