"I refuse, I'm done so stop telling me to go back because I'm not" I said straight up.
"Jarell, fine, do what you think is best but remember I'm your mum and I know what's best for you, going back to that house and making up with Kam is what's best for you, you don't need them kids fatherless"

"You lots are going to feel dumb once that test comes back"
"No Jarell, you are you listen to other people before the people you care about the most, be smart with it, when that test comes back let me know when you feel stupid" She said walking up stairs.

"Mum when's dad coming home? He promised to help me with the game level I can't pass" Kareem said.
"I don't know baby, I think he's visiting his mum but I will get uncle Jayden to get him to come round okay?"
He sighed then walked away.

I could see nothing but him in her face, I closed my eyes and then smiled at her.

She giggled the ran off.

I watched as she walked into the kitchen.

"Yes, you think dad will come back and make us some of his famous pancakes"

I could hear vibrating and looked up on the dresser seeing my phone flash with Kam's face across it.
