chapter 1 senior year

Crystal's pov
It was a regular day I wake up check twitter. I check twitter to see how my favorite boy band is doing Five Seconds of Summer they all follow me. Ive ben close with flFive Seconds of Summer even though i live in california and they live in austrailia but i make them smile we skype alot. But that I see that Calum is having a bad day when he tweeted "you played me you never liked me im done with you never try to talk to me and the boys" so I dm him.
Crystal- "Cal what's wrong I just saw your tweet?
Calum- Crystal you just the person I wanted to talk to
Crystal-OK let's talk what's wrong
Calum- well theirs this girl who's name was Heather and we've been "talking" but I found out she's been"talking " to me and my mates Ashton,Luke, and Micheal.
Crystal- Awe Calum I'm so sorry I would hug you right now to make u feel better
Calum- I need a hug Crystal
Crystal- Calum Ill give u the biggest hug when we see each other
Calum-ill do the same crystal dont u have school.
When I read his message it was 7:47 and school start at 8:30. I respond to calum
Crystal- yeah I was talking you and lost track of time I have to go
Calum-ok bye Crystal have a good day .
I didn't read the message and jumped into the shower and took a quick shower. And got my towel and ran to my room btw I live alone right now because my parents are in London for a month for their  25th anniversary. Anyway I make it to my room and pick out an outfit (AN: outfit in the beginning) I do my hair in a messy bun. I grab my purse and my phone and check the time its 8:05 I get my car keys and run downstairs to the kitchen and get a nature valley bar cause if I stay and eat I'll be late I run outside and to my car and start the engine and drive to school. I check my phone one last time its 8:25 and I walk into the building and got to my locker and gey my notebook and pen and head to art.

Art class
In art my teacher Mrs.Anderson told up to draw a portrait of a girl blowing a bubble and as I was drawing the girl my phone vibrates I pull it out and its a message from calum and it said "Crystal thank you for helping me out today Im really grateful to have found a friend like you". I respond saying "your welcome Cal and I'm grateful for having a friend like you". I start to think did calum just friend zone me? Wait why am I upset he wouldn't go out with me he lives in Australia and I live in California? Also I'm ugly and fat I weigh 97 lbs he'll never date a cow? As I'm thinking the teacher says turn in your papers I look at my drawing and am relaxed because I finished it before I started thinking.

As I walk to my next class everyone I pass by says hi to me.

~Skipping to lunch~
I check what's for lunch and its my favorite  (hamburger and curly fries) thank god its Friday am I right.I go to line and everyone wants me to cut in front of them and I do and I get my food and sit next to my friends who aren't popular their nerds just like me. I begin to each my food but stop when my phone vibrates. Its calum again and he said "crystal the band and I are going to California for a month and I was wondering do u wanna hang out when we get their" unread the message at east ten times and I blush. Then my friends say you so red Crystal you darker then the ketchup on your plate I stop blushing and say I got to us the bathroom I go to the bathroom and reply to calum and say "that would be fun".

Calums pov
I wake up and shower I go downstairs to and see the guys on their phones and say "hey mates" no rssponse not even a singke look up and I go up to them and say "who u guys talking to that u guys can't even say hey" they look up and at the same time they say "Heather" I say "wait Heather Charleston" they all say "yeah how you know" I say "I've been talking to Heather too like we've been talking talking' have you guys been talking talking' too?" They all say "yeah". Then Luke stands up and says "so your telling me that we've been 'talking' to the same girl and she's been flirting with us " Ashton says "I guess she's been using all of us" and Micheal is so mad he punches the wall and makes a hole in the wall. I was so mad I tweeted you played me you never liked me im done with you never try to talk to me and the boys. Minutes later I get a dm I say to my self I hope its not Heather I check the dm and it my good friend crystal and she said

Crystal- "Cal what's wrong I just saw your tweet?
Calum- Crystal you just the person I wanted to talk to
Crystal-OK let's talk what's wrong

We said our goodbye and I decided if I don't want Heather to talk to me I'll unfollow her. And just like that one tap an she's out of my life. I go tell the guys to unfollow her as well and they do.she's out of our life's. I really like Crystal but a girl like her will never go out with me I can tell I'm not her type. It hasn't even been 30 mins and I decide to dm her

Calum- Crystal thank you for helping me out today Im really grateful to have found a friend like you
I think to my self did I just friend zone her now she won't Like me.my phone vibrates and its her
Crystal- your welcome Cal and I'm grateful for having a friend like you. 

I don't respond and. I wait a couple hours cause the band and u went to record some new songs. When I do respond I say

Calum- crystal the band and I are going to California for a month and I was wondering do u wanna hang out when we get their.
Crystal-that would be fun. 

I smile and think maybe one of those days me and her could be alone. I tell the guys that I like Crystal a lot and I want her to be my girlfriend and Luke says "that's funny she like....." then Micheal punches likes arm and say "luke" and Luke says "what?" And Ashton says "don't finish your sentence" I look at the guys and says "what's going on Micheal why did u punch Luke". Micheal says "oh he owes me $100 from 2 weeks and I need it" I say "ooookkkk well mates I'm going to work out" after I work out I shower and the lads and I go oout to dinner and buy dinner I mean McDonalds. We get home I message crystal" hey crystal the lads and I can't wait to see you". I think to my self its too early in America she's asleep. I go to my room and fall asleep.

~skip rest of school~
I rush home and run straight into the bathroom and I pull out the scale and I weigh my self I nearly cry when I see how much I weigh. I weigh 100 lbs I gained 3 pounds. When I see how much I weigh I go to my room and change into shorts and sports bra and I go outside and begin to run for 2 hours.i get home and I shower and pass calum I wake up too my phone vibrate I pick it up its calum "hey crystal the lads and I can't wait to see you"
