Chapter 7

***Abigail's pov***

It's saturday Adeline talked me into going on a double date with her and Noah today ugh, I haven't seen Noah much sense monday at the hotel, while Adelines been over at his house a lot lately and it's because he's been feeling guilty and needs to spend more time with her.

"Abby you ready the boys are here!" Adeline called for me from downstairs.

I rushed downstairs, "Ugh Adeline where are we even going?" I asked irritated not even wanting to go in the first place.

"Lunch come on, hey wait have you guys even really met?" She asked. "Noah this is Christian and Christian this is Noah." she introduced them.

"We know each other." Christian said.

"Yeah sadly." Noah muttered.

"Don't be rude." I said.

"Wow babe you look beautiful." Christian complimented me.

"Thanks." I said with a smile.

When we got to the restaurant we all sat at a nice table inside and we ordered. "Hey babe, Christian got Abby a promise ring how come you never got me one?" Adeline asked.

Noah shrugged "I don't have anything to promise you, nothing that's not already guaranteed I don't need to give you some dumb ring to prove anything."

"It's not supposed to prove anything it's just represents the promise and it's a nice present." Christian explained.

"Whatever." Noah spat back, It was obvious Noah didn't like Christian he put him down every chance he got. "I don't even see a ring on her finger."

I shot Noah a glare, he's the one who told me to take it off I left it at the hotel not thinking and he knew and just had to point it out then the food came.

"Babe where's your ring?" Christian asked worried.

"At home I don't want to wear it so casually I don't like rings much," I quickly made an excuse.

"Oh and how come you never make me breakfast I think it's sweet." Adeline helped me change to subject not that she chose a good topic it was still about us.

"It's probably because we haven't had sex yet." Noah said and I shot another glare.

"Oh my gosh have you guys? Bad girl Abby what happened to waiting till marriage like we promised mom?" Adeline mentioned.

I face palmed, "I was ten she'll never know she's-" I started.

"Watching over us." Adeline finished

"Ohh is that why we haven't had sex? I thought you were just religious or something." Noah added.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with waiting till marriage and even if we didn't have sex and she slept over I still would have made her breakfast." Christian put in his opinion.

Noah looks so irritated and offended, "Oh wow aren't you perfect." It was like he was a jealous boyfriend or something.

I needed to get Noah away from Christian before he said something that would give us away."Adeline we gotta go"

"I understand, bye"

We left and walked home. "I don't see what's Noah's problem with me is," Christian said.

I shrugged, "Maybe he's just intimidated because your a better boyfriend to me then he is to Ade." My phone began to rang, "Hello? Dawn?"

"Hey stranger." Dawn greeted.

I started to laugh, "Hi."

"We haven't talked in forever."

"well you've been so busy with the play and I-" I stopped myself because I've been busy with Noah and sneaking around with him I haven't had much time to hangout with her not even at school cause I ditched with Noah a ton.

"Are you free now we need to talk I can just tell you've been so off lately, I smell your drama you reek of secrets so come over and bring the bag you have the cat in so you can let it out."

She was so full of spirit and spunk, "I'm with Christian at the moment."

"No it's okay babe I need to go work on a project anyways plus she is your bestfriend." Christian told me.

"Thanks babe," I said, "Dawn I'll be over in 10." I said hanging up.

I was now in Dawn's room, honestly I've been kinda avoiding her if anyone can get me to tell my deepest secrets it's her. We we're sitting at her bet, she started laughing, "You look really nervous."

I looked around, "It's cause I am, your right I am hiding something but it's personal and I'm not telling you."

"okay and the questions start, what's your name?" She started simply.

"Abigail Martha Darson." I answered.

"Correct," she said then asked another, "Where's your promise ring?"

I looked at her, "At home."

"Wrong." she said quickly

I had a confused look upon my face, "What the heck?"

Dawn started laughing, "You are the worse liar., where is it?"

I sighed, "I lost it."

"Where?"

I closed my eyes, "None of your business can I leave?" the I opened them I was so frustrated.

"Where??" She insisted.

"A hotel." I answered reluctantly.

"Oh my god did you go on a vaca without me?"

"No I wasn't." I kinda wanted to laugh.

"Then why Gail why?"

I can't take her eyes anymore and that look, she's my bestfriend I can trust her. "I was with Noah I'm cheating on Christian with Noah, we've gone to a hotel twice, we've been having sex and doing over stuff to." I admitted.

Her mouth dropped open she was so surprised, we sat in silence, "That's who you keep ditching with and why you've been so busy...."

I nodded,

"Oh my god this is so scandalous."

"What...? you're not disappointed in me or yelling at me or disgusted to even look at me."

She shrugged, "I knew you've alway had you eye on him remember before Adeline started dating him you used to drool over him, you liked him first, the heart wants what the heart wants but your such a good person I'm just surprised you're really doing this."

"I know I feel so much guilt."

She gave me a hug, "I think you need this, but don't keep this going on too long either way people are gonna get hurt you can't undo anything but you can stop further hurting, like I know you love both of them but your gonna have to pick sooner or later."

"I don't love Noah, like yes love no."

"Just keep me updated okay no more secrets between us okay?" Dawn asked.

"Okay." the rest of the day we just talked about all sorts of stuff, if I could trust anyone it's her
