Just like any other day, my alarm clock woke me from my deep sleep. It was time to go to school. I let out a groan, as I walked over to the bathroom to get ready. This year thankfully I had a personal bathroom in our new house. Over at our old house I had to share the same bathroom with those animals called my brothers. Like seriously, Matt takes almost a full hour getting ready to go to school. An hour!! We all just say it's to impress his new cheerleader girlfriend Veronica.Matt is like the only popular one of us at school. He plays football and hangs with the "cool" people. I don't really care about being popular tho. The popular life just isn't for me.

An hour later, after I was done getting ready I went downstairs to find mom doing some breakfast.

"Need some help mom?"

"Oh,no sweetie it's okay." She replied, as she made some fried eggs for my brother Daniel.

Ignoring her, I went and served Steven his marshmallow cereal in to his Ninja Turtles bowl. I grabbed a spoon an set it at the table. Going down the stairs, Steven made his way to his cereal awaiting him.

"Yay! Marshmallow cereal!" Cheered Steven.

"Only a child like you gets happy cause of cereal." said Daniel coming down the stairs with his ear buds in.

Steven didn't understand a word Dani said to him. My four-year old brother shrugged and continued to eat his cereal.

"Well better get to school." I said, as I grabbed my house keys walking to the front door.

"Oh sweetie let Matt give you a ride," said mom."You do attend the same school. "

Out the corner of my eye I could see Matt staring fiercely at me."What would his friends think if they saw him with his not popular sister?" I thought inside my head. It be nice to see that, just not today.

"Nah I'm okay mom. I'll walk with Pansy."

"Well okay,see you later!"

I walked outside and played with a rock on the ground as I waited for my friend. Pansy, had Asian features, coming from her dad's side and her hair came from her mother's family side. Pansy waved over.

"Hi'ya May!" Pansy said, her burgundy backpack hanging from her left shoulder.

"Hey Patricia." I said teasing with a smirk. Pansy didn't like people calling her by her real name.

She glared at me. "Shut up. I've had a crappy morning already."

"Ah, you need a smooch for that?" I said, pouting my lips close to her face.

"No thanks." She said putting her hand on my lips.

"No worries I'll tell Matt to give it to ya. You might turn in to a frog tho." I said with a laugh.

Pansy stayed quiet. After we exchanged a few homework answers, we started to walk to school not wanting to arrive late.

"Agh...I am so tired of school." Sighed Pansy as we walked in to school.

"Ha and it's just the second week of school" I said laughing at her laziness.
