It was dusk when Jessica reached Tiffany's house. She looked under the potted plant at the top of the steps and found a key just as Tiffany had said. The place was empty according to Tiffany and was going to remain empty until Tiffany finished helping Jiyong with something. With what, Jessica didn't know.
The foyer was much darker than the night before; she walked along the walls to find a light switch. Once she did the place didn't seem as eerie. She was still a little surprised by how normal everything looked.
Taking out her phone, she walked along a hall with closed doors. Tiffany had told her that her room was the last one on the right and to make herself at home.
Tiffany's room wasn't anything special. There was a bed, a desk, a closet and not much else. A small maple chest on the empty desk struck her interest since it was the only thing that looked like it had some personal significance. She took it to the bed and tried opening it but it seemed to be locked.
"Hello."
Yuri's voice scared the crap out of her and the chest dropped into her lap. She put it aside and tried not to look like she was prying.
"Hi Yuri."
"I don't mean to be rude but, what are you doing here?"
"Oh, Tiffany invited me. But she's still out with Jiyong and told me to wait."
Yuri's demeanor changed at hearing that Tiffany was gone. She slipped off her blazer and threw it on the desk while walking to Jessica. Yuri's top was tight and transparent and Jessica brought her chin to her chest to keep from staring. It wasn't that she was attracted to Yuri (attracted and attractive were two completely different things) but the girl exuded an aura of confidence in every step she took that made Jessica unwillingly self conscious.
"It's getting awfully humid, isn't it?"
Yuri leaned back on her hands, shifting closer to Jessica. Jessica couldn't look away from the tiny spot where their knees were touching.
"Jessica."
Her own name never sounded more melodic to her than it did when Yuri said it, like it was something out of a children's fairy tale. It would have been extremely impolite to ignore her.
She looked at Yuri and felt invisible wires wrap around her neck and face. "Yes?"
"Aren't you hot?"
Now that she thought about it, she was hot.
"Yes."
"Then maybe you should unbutton your blouse a little."
It made sense. She was hot after all and a few buttons would help. It would have been easier if she looked down to see what her hand was doing but Jessica didn't want to look away from Yuri's eyes. It felt like the world would fall away if she did.
"There," Yuri blew air onto the skin Jessica exposed, "that feels better, right?"
Jessica wanted to nod, but it seemed like too much effort.
"You know, I think I can see why Tiffany likes you so much. Your skin is so soft, and smooth."
She felt Yuri's finger on the base of her sternum, tracing some pattern she couldn't decipher. Deep in her mind this seemed wrong, but she couldn't figure out why.
Yuri had gotten much closer, her mouth somewhere near Jessica's neck and Jessica's fingers twitched like they wanted to do something, but they weren't sure what.
Next thing Jessica saw was Tiffany standing in front of her and Yuri lying in a messy heap next to Tiffany's desk.
"If you value your life, get out now."
