Third person

Ash and Serena were known as the inseparable couple in Kalos, Lumious city. photographers would die to get a picture of the two together, writers would write news about them, and they even get a lot of sites one of all of them owned by Leaf Green of course! Serena's 'best friend', Cassie, was the biggest amourshipper of them all, she got the whole Kalos to ship it, even got Delia and Grace to love it too! The two childhood friends just thought of each other as friends oblivious to the fact they were known as a couple, well in Ash's case at least since he is the friend-zone master, Serena and Ash would hang out a lot but never fought until now...

"Serenaaaaaa! Why are you always with that Calem guy? Do you like him??" Ash asks pouting at Serena who blushed and puffed her cheeks, "Ash, he's just a friend... besides why would you care? Jealous?" Serena giggled, Ash on the other hand took it as an offense, though Serena was just kidding around. "HEY! Of course i'd care!! Don't tell me you forgot our 'Childhood promise' !?" Ash screamed out flailing his arms as the two walked into the forest. "c-childhood p-promise? I know of no s-such thing!" Serena shook her head and Ash sighed, the two soon got lost in the forest alone, together. "waaaah! We're lost now!" Serena said a bit frightened as it was getting dark, Ash on the other hand was calm and determined to find a way out. "we'll get out!!" Ash said, as he sat on a nearby rock. "*sigh* it would have been better if you dint get us lost in the forest..." Serena said, not meaning it to be offensive nor heard. "Me?! I was not the one who took a turn here!!" Ash said, his emotions taking over him. "Look! I just wanna find a way out and get outta here!!" Ash screamed at Serena not realizing what he's done. "Stay here! You might get us lost again!" Ash said, he pushed branches out of his way and tried to find a way back, Serena on the other hand was already on her knees crying her eyes out. ( A/N: great thanks a lot, Ash! )

A little later Ash came back to where he told Serena to stay, he honestly made Serena stay there for her safety. when Ash reached Serena he found her on the floor, tears streaming down her face, hair a mess, and scratches on her arms. "S-Serena?! What happened?!" Ash dropped down beside Serena, as he put a hand on her shoulder she slapped it away. "Serena..." she stood up as she wiped her tears. "oh so n-now you c-care?!..." she said still crying. "when you l-left... i was a-attacked... by an ursaring!... W-where were you... WHEN I NEEDED YOU THE MOST?!" Serena screamed at Ash, Ash immediately felt guilt and slowly moved towards the crying Serena. he slowly wrapped his arms around her giving her a calming hug, surprising the girl. "look... I'm sorry... okay? I just- i just wanted to protect you... guess i wasn't able to... heh..." Serena returned the hug to Ash, both were on the floor in each other arms.

It started to rain around the childhood friends, and Serena thought it was time to tell Ash about how she felt all this time. "A-ash?" Serena said, Ash withdrew from the hug and turned to face Serena. "yeah?" She took a deep breath and started. "Ash... i've been meaning to tell you something... ever since the day you helped me... to this day... i've always liked you, scratch that i love you! And i wanna know how you feel... if you return my feelings back..." she said, playing with her thumbs waiting for an answer. Ash tipped his cap down. "Serena... i don't like you..." at that moment Serena felt like her heart was gonna break into two hearing those words. "...I love you..." Ash finished, he looked up to her and smiled he took her hand and pulled her for a hug, he then pulled back and gave Serena a short but sweet kiss.
