Everywhere I go its all Christmas-y. Whats the deal with Christmas anyway? I know its someones birthday on that day but why's it a big occasion? Then there's the day before christmas.. my birthday. Im stuck celebrating my birthday with my sister, Leaf, and Lyra my girlfriend. 'Would they still celebrate my birthday when I turn 100?' Is what I would ask all the time.
"SILVYYYYYYYY!" I heard someone say bringing me back to reality. The person ran to me from behind and jumped up, hugging me. I turned around to see a very familiar face.
"Hello to you too, Lyra." I said and she pouted, releasing me from her bear hug, and walking beside me holding my hand. "Be a little more excited Silver,"
"Its your birthday!" She smiled. I blushed and tried to hide it with my scarf. Oh, I forgot to mention it was also snowing. "Lets go to the park!!! I wanna play in the snow!" She ran towards the park, jumping up and down as she ran.
Entering the park I saw Lyra had already started making a snowman with some other little kids. "Silver! Come play with us," 'guess I have n--' "Hey!" I screamed, as I got hit by the cold snow causing me to fall over. I wiped the snow from my face saw Lyra laughing, I smirked and got some snow turning it into a snowball. I got ready to hit her back with mu snowball as she finally stopped laughing. "Hahaha! You actually got hit by my snowball hahaha--"
It was my turn to laugh now. "What'd you say? I didn't hear you considering you got hit by a snowball!" She stood up and smirked. "Oh its on!" After that we started to have a snowball fight and I made a tiny fort while doing so.

We sat on a bench as the sun began to set. "That was, somehow, fun," I said smiling a bit at the memory of our little snowball fight. "Lets do it next year too, Silvy!" She gave me a warm smile and we both started walking back to my house, Leaf must be worried about us.
Lyra stopped in front of my house taking a good look at it before turning towards me. She brought out something from her purse and handed it to me with a smile. "Your gift," I gave her a tiny smile and left for the house.
"Wait!"
I stopped walking and sighed. "What is it, Lyr--" Before I could continue Lyra leaped over and kissed me, leaving me shocked. My face turned as red as my her as we fell on the soft snow. I know we're together and all but Im still uncomfortable doing these kinda things. She moved back and hugged me.
"Happy Birthday Silvy!" She stood and helped me up on my feet. "I have to go and help Leaf! Go up to your room first," and with that she ran inside the house. I noticed her gift beside me and I decided to open it.
It was a cute panda jacket. 'Lyra will always be Lyra, giving me cute stuff every year,'
