Three days had passed since Jongin made an appearance, little did Kyungsoo know, he had been there everynight to visit. Jongin was very concerned, he knew Kyungsoo was no where near safe, the man would have back up for a case like this, which means Kyungsoo wouldn't be able to do anything on his own without being in danger. It worried Jongin for reasons he didn't understand, but he knew he somehow had to protect Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo had been staring at his lap top for the past few days, reading about Jongin, about his past, and who he is. He once teared up reading an article about him. Jongin had done horrible things, just from what he witnessed, but he's done some good as well, but surely not enough to make up for taking someone's life. Jongin was 15 when both his mother and father were killed right before his eyes, they were brutally murdered, and they kept their son alive to watch, and left him to live with those soul eating memories. There weren't any pictures, there wasn't a memorial website, nothing in memory of this family. Kyungsoo now knew why he carried so much hatred towards the world, and why he isn't exactly normal, but then he read an article about how this strange kid ran into a burning building to save a baby, he managed to get back out with minimal burns, but it was already to late for the baby, it had inhaled to much smoke. He's been through so much trauma, Kyungsoo just wanted to hold him and tell him everything was alright, but the boy showed no emotion, as if he were a machine, hie eyes were cold and lonely, and that part of him is what Kyungsoo feared.

It was late, and far past visiting hours when there was a sudden knock at the door. He hummed in response, and Jongin carefully opened the door and quietly walked in. Kyungsoo looked at his clock and saw that it was the same time three days ago that Jongin had came. Kyungsoo now knew almost everything about him, but there was something inside of him that made him incapable of speaking. Jongin took the seat next to Kyungsoo's bed, never breaking eye contact.

"How are your wounds?" He asked in a hushed tone.

"B - better. I'm.. I'm being released soon."

Jongin looked up with wide eyes. It was too soon, the man's followers woudl find him, they'll be looking for him, chasing him, hunting him down, he's not able to leave that soon.

"Seriously?" And Kyungsoo only nodded in response. "Kyungsoo." Jongin started. "You can't leave. Not yet. It's not safe." He said, this time in a not so hushed tone.

"Why do you care? Why did you come back?"

"I don't know." Jongin answered honestly. "Why aren't you scared of me?" He added.

"I don't know." Kyungsoo said shyly.

Jongin had to think, think of a strategy. But it's at times like these his brain failed him. He looked at Kyungsoo hopelessly, and it didn't go unseen. He knew deep inside he didn't have the right to protect him. He knew deep inside that he needed to keep his distance, stay away from him, forget about him, erase him from his mind, that's the only way there is to protect him, protect whatever innocence he had left. If he stayed in his life any longer, he was going to ruin him, influence him into doing the horrible things he does, and he couldn't have that. He took a deep breath, and nodded to himself.

"I'm going to leave now. I promise I won't come back, I'm sorry for what you've seen.." He took a pause and made one last decision. "You need to do what's right, you can turn me in, tell them everything you saw, and make sure that I'm put away, that I'm kept far away." He got up and walked to the door. "I didn't mean to cause all this mess, to ruin your innocence, it was wrong, and that's why I'm leaving." He turned the knob and made it half way out, when he suddenly heard Kyungsoo.

"Wait!" He yelled. "Come back." Jongin did what he was told and walked back into the room, closing the door once again, a bit confused to why Kyungsoo would want him to come back.
