Loving an Idiot/Part 2

"Luffy, don't go too far! Just stay in my sight, okay?"

"Then walk faster Sanji!"

Sanji sighed heavily, not changing his pace. Nami was walking beside him, eyeing Luffy who was jumping up and down and running up to every single shop in sight.

"Are you sure you didn't accidentaly drop energy juice into his breakfast today?"

"The bad part is that, I'm hundred percent sure I didn't give him any energy drink."

Nami giggled more when Luffy accidentaly tripped and fell into the tomato stand of an old woman. The woman with wrinkles all over her face was now shouting angrily at him. She then grabbed his cheek and pulled, probably thinking that he was some child and needed to get pinched in the cheek or slapped with a shoe on the butt. But no, he was a seventeen year old who was most likely to become the Pirate King.

Luffy's cheek streched unhumanly between her fingers and she let go of her hand, screaming in shock.

Sanji quickly made his way up to them, not wanting to have to run away from the island since he had nessecary supply he needed to buy for the kitchen.

"H-He is... What is that!!"

Sanji stood next to Luffy, raising his hands in an attempt to calm down the old lady;

"P-Please calm down, this is my friend-"

"HIS CHEEK STRECHED LIKE ONE METERS!"

Sanji looked displeasedly around him, they were now surrendered by a curious crowd.

"Old lady, let me explain. This is my friend Lu-"

Nami had came over them and pinched Sanji's arm to warn him when he was about to let out Luffy's name.

"Lu-Lucy! He is Lucy and when he was a child he was sooo fat that his cheeks were one meters big! And then he lost weight but the skin around his cheek is still loose, that's why they're a bit like rubber!"

"And my fist is like a giant pisto-"

Sanji laughed forcefuly, closing his hands on Luffy's mouth and sending him a 'I-will-kill-you-later' look before smiling reassuraly at the crowd.

"Oh, I see."

The old lady said, looking relieved.

The crowd went to back to their own works and do's.

A small girl was still standing in front of them even after the crowd was gone. She looked at Luffy with an amazed expression and stood on her tip-toes;

"Are your cheeks really one meters long?"

Luffy chuckled at the girl, kneeling in front of her;

"Yeah, and my fist is like a gi-"

Sanji punched his head to shut him up, still looking irritated.
But the girl didn't seem to mind, her green eyes sparkled in amazement;

"So cool! Can I touch them?"

"Of course!"

As she pinched Luffy's cheeks, Nami couldn't help but stare longingly at the boy with the strawhat.
Without intention, she then tought of the little girl with orange hair instead of brown and found herself dreaming about how cute Luffy would look as a father.
She heard Luffy's laughter and felt her heart melt, he looked so handsome when he smiled with that scar under his eye!

"Nami-swan?"

"Huh?"

"We have to go buy everything on this list before the sky gets dark."

"Oh...Oh, right! Okay...We'll go..."

Nami said as if she was in a dream, her brain didn't seem to function at all when Luffy was in her sight.

"Lisaaaa! Lunch is ready!"

The little girl answered the woman who was shouting from the window of a house in the distance;

"Okay, Mama!"

Then she looked sadly at Luffy;

"I have to go Lucy-san..."

She really looked sad, as if she was about to cry.
Luffy leaned down and placed a kiss on her chubby cheeks;

"I'll see you later then!"

They both smiled at each other, then Luffy ruffled the kid's hair and she made her way towards her home.

I heard Sanji's voice over...a pink mist? ...What is this pink mist thing??

"Nami-swan? Are you okay, Nami-swan?"

I saw Luffy look at my face;

"Nami? What's happening? Her face looks so...weird."

"Luffy..."

"Just like you poured tomate juice all over your face!"

"I know!"

((From Nami's vision;

"Nami your face looks so...beautiful."

"Luffy..."

"Just like our daughter!"

"I know!"

End of Nami's vision))

Luffy looked at her weirdly as Sanji went on hypervelating;

"Nami-swan's cheeks are crimson red! And her forehead...it's burning! She is sick! Doctor! Someone find a doctor!"

"Sanji, maybe we should pour ice over her?"

Sanji punched Luffy with an angry face;

"I'm not listening to your stupid ideas! Especially when it comes to my lovely Nami-swan..."

"Hey my ideas aren't stupid!"

"Like hell they aren't! You want to throw ice at her!"

"I don't want to throw ice at her. I just suggested that we gently poured some nice ice over her!"

"Nice ice? What the shitty thing is that?"

"The only thing shitty here is-"

"G-Guys! Stop shouting at each other! Sanji I don't need a doctor. Luffy I don't want you to throw nice ice at me."

"Gently pour."

"I'll gently kick your ass-"

"Sanji-kun!"

"Hai, Nami-swaaann~"

"Shut up and go get your supply."

"Hai, Nami-swann~ Luffy come with me."

"Don't worry Nami, I'll buy you nice ice."

Nami smiled at her captain;

"To throw at me?"

The said captain smiled back at her, also starting to find the ice arguement funny;

"To gently pour down you."
