Chapter 1
Pilot Jefferson lived a pretty normal life in a small town outside Bristol. She lived in a quaint little cottage with her artist mother and her dog the-size-of-a-horse Harley. Nothing extaordinary or strange ever happened and it was constanly in a state of perpetual wetness, which isn't at all surprising.
Everyday she walked to and from her local secondary school, and every night she did what little homework she was given. She, like every other seventeen year old, wanted to leave this place and make something of herself. What that something was? Well, she wasn't too sure. Yet.
Pilot stood at 5ft 8, a fact that she constanly complained about due to the fact that she often towered over all the boys when wearing heels, or, by chance, she happened to be standing atop a box.
She wasn't your conventional beauty, blonde and blue-eyed, but she was a different knid of beauty. Her long sooty black hair skimmed the centre of her back and accented the bronze tones of her skin. Her eyes were large and honest and a strange blue-grey colour that she could never decide if she liked or not. She was skinny, too skinny, or 'slim' as her mother would say in an attempt to cheer her up. Not that she listened. Pilot was scrawny and she knew it.
Pilot was getting tired of this simple life and longed for a shot at adventure and spontaneity. Little did she know, her ticket to a more interesting and exciting life was about to arrive into town in a shiny new BMW.
This is more of an intorduction than an actually chapter so that's why it's pretty short :)
