Gerard's P.O.V
I woke before the alarm, so I turned it off and turned to look at Kat as she slept, peacefully beside me. I reached over and tucked a stray hair behind her ear. I let my hand trail down to her slight bump. I rested my hand there as I pushed myself onto my elbow. Leaning forward, I kissed the bruises on her side, then the bump. Then I kissed her forehead, her left cheek, her right cheek, then her nose and finally I connected our lips. She lifted her hand and tangled her fingers in my hair. I ran my tongue over her lips. She parted her lips. My tongue darted into her mouth and explored the sweetness.
"I take it that you wanted me up?" She smiled at me when we finally parted.
I grinned. "Actually, I'd rather be up right now." I took her hand and placed it on my hard on.
She laughed. "That's your own fault." She said as she pushed me away. She moved to climb out the bed. She held onto her side and cried out in pain.
I rushed around the bed and sat beside her, resting a hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong, baby?"
She smiled, slightly. "I'm okay. I just forgot about the bruising."
I pushed her hair back so I could kiss her cheek. "Oh, baby. I'm so sorry."
She frowned as she looked at me. "Why? You didn't do it."
"No. But it's because of me."
She turned, slowly and cradled my cheek. "It's not your fault, Gee." She stated. "You had nothing to do with it. She's just crazy." She leaned her forehead against mine. "Don't ever blame yourself for that."
"I love you, Kat." I said as I stroked her hair.
"I love you too."Time Lapse>>>>>>>>>>
One hour, fifteen minutes later. In the taxi.
The whole ride to the airport, I held Kat in my arms. Every few minutes I kissed the top of her head and rubbed her arm.
"I'm okay, baby." She said after about the eighth time. "You don't need to worry about me so much."
"I can't stop worrying about you. I was supposed to protect you." I sighed.
She turned to look at me. "I don't need protecting. I'm a big girl now. I can protect myself."
"But it's my job as your husband." I insisted.
She sighed. "No. Your job is to love me and be there for me. And you do that perfectly. So quit worrying." She kissed my cheek then cuddled into me, resting her head on my shoulder.
I rested my cheek on her head and sighed again. "I'll always love you, Kitty Kat."
"I'll always love you too, Gee."
We arrived at the airport ten minutes later. I loaded our bags onto a luggage trolley and wheeled it into the terminal with a arm around Kat. She helped steer it. Once we were half way through the terminal, we were spotted and fans rushed forward. I stopped and moved Kat to stand between me and the luggage trolley, putting my hands either side of her.
"I will sign autographs but I ask that you make it quick." I told the fans. "We are just heading out on our honeymoon."
A girl with green hair smiled. "Congratulations." She said. "When did you get married? If you don't mind me asking?"
Kat smiled at the girl. "Thank you. We got married yesterday."
I signed autographs as the fans talked to Kat. Kat handled it well. She answered questions without giving too much away. They found out she's pregnant and her name. They found out how we met and how I proposed. Then the fans left and we went to check in our bags. Then it was time to board the plane.
Once in the air, we cuddled some more. Kat rested her head on my shoulder. My arms wrapped around her, careful not to hurt her. We stayed like that for the full seven hours and twenty nine minutes it took to get from Chicago to the Leeds and Bradford airport in the UK. Only parting once for a bathroom break. Once we landed, I collected our luggage and steered us into the terminal. News had obviously got out, because we were met by a large group of fans. Two security guards walked forward.
"His names John." The big dark haired one said as he pointed to the slightly shorter ginger haired guard. "And I'm Nathan. We are airport security. Due to the large number of fans here, we are going to escort you to your transport."
Kat smiled. "Thank you."
The guards led us to a taxi outside. They loaded our luggage into the boot, then waved us goodbye. The taxi driver took us to the train station, then left. The train station wasn't as bad for fans. We did bump into a few. I signed a few autographs, then we boarded our train to Scarborough.
We talked the whole way there. Sitting in first class and laughing at anything and everything. By the time the train stopped in Scarborough, we were both tired. So we grabbed our luggage and rushed out to take a taxi to the Boston hotel. As soon as we got to our room, we locked the door and cuddled on the double bed for a nap.
"Get some sleep, baby." I said, stroking Kat's hair as she rested her head on the pillow beside me. We were laid on our sides, just looking at each other. "You look so tired."
She smiled at me. "Jet lag." She stated. "I'm not a old pro at travelling like you."
"Hey." I faked hurt. "Less of the old. Besides, after touring with me, you'll become a pro too."
Her eyes widened. "What?"
"I want you to come on tour with me after the babies born." I smiled. "I don't want to go without you."
She frowned. "But....the baby..."
"We'll be staying in hotel's. So the baby will be okay."
"Are you sure?"
I leaned forward and kissed her. "Definitely, baby." I said as I pulled her, gently, into my arms. "I don't want it any other way."Notes
Boring chapter. But at least I managed to update.
