Evelyn's POV

It's been 5 days since I met Harry. I do admit, the way we met wasn't great, but Harry and I have actually been talking a lot.

It's been amazing. After Gabby realized Luke is the only guy she loves, Harry called me. He asked me if I could meet him at Target. I was confused, I mean Target? But I went anyways. I'm glad I did.

   Throwback

I got out of my car and started walking towards Target. I saw him standing out front of the store. He was holding a rose.

"Evelyn!" He said. "I'm glad you're here..." He smiled, looking at the ground.

"Yeah..." I said, still confused. Why does he have a rose?

"Look, Evelyn, I realize that I should have never kissed Gabby. She's with Luke. I thought I was supposed to be with her. But when I saw you, something snapped inside me. I can't stop thinking about you, and what you said. I know I don't know you, but... What do you say we get to know each other?" Harry asked me, holding out the rose. He blushed while saying all this.

I couldn't believe it. Harry Styles, the boy I have been infatuated with for years, is right in front of me, asking to get to know me. I'm speechless for a while.

Then I remembered that he was still there waiting for my reply. I took the rose out of his hand carefully. "Sure." I said, smiling. But on the inside I was going insane. A million thoughts raced through my head.

He smiled, and walked closer to me. What is he doing?! I freak out momentarily until I feel his arms wrap around me. I'm standing still, frozen. But he's so warm, and his arms are so inviting... I hug him back.

"Hey Harry?" I ask. "Hm?" He says. "This is great but... Why are we at Target?" I question him, smiling.

"Oh." He smiles, revealing his dimples. "I was wondering if you wanted to go get some groceries with me?" He asked, holding out his hand. I laughed.

"Of course." I said, cracking a smile. I grabbed his hand and we walked inside.

   End of throwback

That was a really fun day. I remember he pushed me around in the cart. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time.

Me and Harry instantly clicked after that. We went to Luke's party together. When we kissed... God, our kiss was amazing. It made me feel like we were maybe gonna be more than friends someday. I hope Harry felt the same. I remember how it felt waking up in his arms in the morning, too.

The day after that, we went to the IHOP and the beach together with Noel, Niall, Gabby and Luke. I still can't believe that I'm hanging out with Harry. He's all I can think about. We're always together, and it might seem like we're in a relationship, but we aren't dating. Yet.

My phone starts ringing, snapping me out of my thoughts. I grab it to see that Harry is calling me. I answer right away.

"Hi, Harry." I say softly into my phone, smiling.

"Hello, Evelyn." He replies. "I was just calling to ask if you want to come with me to dinner tonight? Or if you don't, that's okay, we've been hanging out a lot already, you might be bored of me, I just-" I cut him off.

"Harry, stop rambling. I could never be bored of you." I say. I think I heard him sigh of relief into the phone.

"So um... Is that a yes?" He asks. "Of course." I say, my heart beating faster already.
