"So, what do you say?" Alexander questions.

"Well," Macy starts. "Fine. But I can't travel around with you all, it'll ruin my reputation."

I sigh, frustrated. "Oh who freaking cares about reputation! You lot don't even focus on what's important, and that's your personality. All you people care about are looks and material!"

Muse flashes a warning glare at me before turning back to Macy. "Sorry about her, what she means to s-"

"No, she's right," she interjects, her face slightly horrified. "My whole life, I've been taught that as long as you maintain a good reputation, you'll go far in life. That it was the most important thing in life." She gets up and walks out of the room.

The rest of The Kinetics looks over at me. "What?! I didn't do anything wrong! I even got through to her!" I slump down into my chair.

After what seems like an hour, she stumbles back in with a suitcase in each hand.

"Um, what is all that?" Luna sits up quickly.

"It's my stuff. I'm leaving!" she exclaims, then pulls the cases into the living room and sighs triumphantly.

"Wait, wait, wait," Raven repeats. "Where exactly are you going to go?"

"Well, don't you guys have a place together that you use for a hideout? I'll just stay there, you guys have a bed there, right?"

"Well, yeah, but-"

"There we go! I'll definitely be staying there then!"

Muse gets up now. "Look, I think it's best if you stay for now. We don't want anyone getting suspicious."

"Suspicious? I don't care anymore!" she practically yells, her voice echoing in the room.

"Look," he says a little quieter, "you're our only hope to possibly reach more people. Just stay here for a little bit."

She looks at him for a moment, then groans in frustration. "Ugh,  alright! Anyway, where is this little hideout of yours? So I can actually be there for meetings and such."

Michael, talking for the first time since we got in here, stands up and projects, "All the information you need is on here." He hands her a small wrinkly piece of paper.

We all get up now. "Meet us tomorrow at that address; we'll officially recruit you there."

"Ok, that's fine. I'm free most of-" She is cut off by the sound of a car. "It's my mom! You guys got to go, she can't know I talked to anyone about this, especially all of you."

"But how are we gonna get out? She's right out front," I say calmly.

She rushes us to the back of the house, where she pushes us out of the back door. "I'll see you tomorrow." And with that, we were left by ourselves.

"Well, I guess we should make our way back to the hideout," Alexander says blandly.

We start back, unsure of tomorrow.
