I am the only one living. The whole world has been invaded. I am the last human. In this world I am the only survivor. I have been living like a savage for ages. I have been walking all around this land. I don't even know what state I am in mentally and physically. I have invaded more houses than I have been in before this tragedy. I haven't found one person. I occasionally have to run away from aliens and robots. They have lasers for eyes and have obliterated the houses and buildings. Of course, they didn't start out with The United States of America; The home of red white and blue. They didn't start with the land of opportunity. I remember the news telling me where they started but I quickly forgot when I started pertaining for another invasion. I am walking right now with no direction. Maybe I should look for a store. The robots took out some malls but I can see a Wal Mart ahead. Finally I can get new shoes, new clothes and food. I can't remember what I ate last but it wasn't good. I run with enthusiasm and start to cry when I get closer. The doors don't magically open but I pry them open and make my way inside.

When I get inside Wall Mart I almost immediately run to the fridge. I drown myself in whatever beverage is inside. "Hey!" a female voice calls out. I want to turn around but I can't. I am induced with the flavor of the cold drink. "Hey bud, stop drinking all my Coke." the same female calls out. Before I know it the drink gets ripped out of my grips. I wipe my mouth ready to fight a girl who took away my only drink. "Gosh, look what you have done!" She whines "You left all your slobber all over it." She whines again. I take a good look at her. She's short and her hair is red hair. She looks like she's about fourteen but she has a face that looks like she could be older. "Who are you anyways?" I ask. "Who are you?" She counters. "I asked you first." I reply to her question without answering. "You can call me Smashley because I destroy everything in my path. Now it's your turn." She demands. "Call me STD because I will destroy you." She looks blankly at me and laughs. "That's real creative." She scoffs. "Me? You're the one who calls yourself Smashley. I bet your name is Ashley. That is very creative I would've never known." My voice dripping with sarcastic

I still have not registered that another person is standing in front of me. I take a chance to ask, "How long have you been alive?" She looks at me and says, "Nineteen years. You?" I take a second look at her. She does not look nineteen at all. "Twenty." I lie. "Okay I'm actually fifteen." I breathe a sigh of relief. "I'm sixteen." I decide to come clean. We stare at each other for a while without saying a word. "How are you alive?" I ask. I thought I was the only one who was alive. "Hello? My name is Smashley duh Mr. STD." "Well Smashley, how did you learn how to hunt and kill aliens and robots?" She looks around and puts her hand on her hips. "My Grandpa Gary we-" Her voice is cut off and replaced by a groggy voice yelling, "Ashley where's my water?" She tilts her head in annoyance. She holds up one finger telling me to wait a minute. With a swift turn she yells down a aisle, "It's Smashley you crazy bat! Your water is coming hold your horses!"

"I have to go. You can make your way out I assume you know the way." She grabs a water bottle from the fridge and makes her way back without another word. "Hey wait!" I have to stop her. We can fight these monsters together. "What do you want?" She says annoyance clear in her voice. "It's just that I thought I was the only one alive. I can't just leave knowing that there are two other humans living." I desperately spit out. "Look here buster, even if you didn't leave, what would we do? You don't have a plan and neither do me and Grandpa. Forget about us and leave, it's best for you." "I may not have a plan but I know I'd rather die on my feet then live on my knees if I can't live free. Together we can go out and demolish the robots, we can conquer aliens and we can save humanity." My heart is beating fast and I can tell whether she's debating to go along. "There is no humanity left. There's me and my grandpa and that's it." Smashley reaches inside her pocket, pulls out a gun and fires it at my chest. My vision is fading and I can see my short lived life coming to an end. I can hear her walking closer. I'm on my back now and I can see lights. "Don't slobber on my drinks, especially my coke." Those were the last word I heard.
