Dib Has A Crash

I walk with Zim to this 'High School'. I'm very confused by the concept, but I don't question it.
Zim shows me to the classroom, and tells the teacher that I'm a new student. When all the students are in the room the teacher says, "class, take your seats. We have a new student joining us today, this is Jet. Now if you have something to say to the class, say it now because after this moment, I don't want to hear a peep out of you!" She says than sits behind her desk.
I glance at Zim and he gives me a look like 'make something up' so I do
"Hello fellow humans, I am a normal human girl. Nothing paranormal about me!" I say nervously
"Take a seat, Jet." The teacher says
I take the only empty seat, which is behind this boy with glasses.
"Why did you say that?" He asks
"Say what?" I ask nervously maybe I said the wrong thing
"You like had to imply that you were human."
"So, I heard rumors about this alien kid, so I figured I'd say it just to make sure." I say
"Okay, I'm Dib." He says and puts his hands out
"Jet." I say and shake his hand
I glance at Zim, and he's staring at me. Probably because of Dib, maybe he's the kid that Zim was talking about
"Oh, and by the way. The alien kid, is Zim... the one with green skin..." Dib says
"Zim?" I gasp
"Yeah, why?"
"Because... uh... I met him, he seemed so nice."
"He's an alien, so."
"Okay... I guess..." I sigh
"Hey, do you want to sit with me and my sister at lunch?" Dib asks
"Uhh... no... I can't... so, yeah... I mean no." I smile nervously
"Oh, okay." I seemed to hurt his feelings

At lunch, I sit with Zim.
"What were you and Dib talking about?" He asks
"He wanted me to sit with him at lunch, which I guess is now..." I say
"At least, you decide not to sit with him... mainly because this lunch is meat, don't touch it." Zim warned me
I looked at him curious, than I poked the meat.
"Ow!" I say pulling my finger back, "it burnt me!" I say
"I told you not to touch it." Zim says
"Yeah, I know, but you know that that's a sure fire way to get me to do something!" I laugh
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've always been like that!" Zim says smiling
I glance around till I see Dib he's staring at me, he noticed my looking at him, he blushes profusely and looks at his food.
"Hey Zim?" I ask
"What?" He looks at me
"Why is Dib staring at me?"
"What?" Zim quickly glares at Dib

(Dib POV)

"Gaz! Gaz!" I say to my sister
"Dib, I swear! If you make me lose this game I will make your life a living hell!" Gaz says
"Zim, he's like, giving me the death glare!"
"Well if you'd stop giving his girlfriend goo-goo eyes, he wouldn't have to glare."
"Girlfriend? You think so?"
"Maybe, she has been next to him like all day..." Gaz says
"Yeah, your right." I sigh
Why does Zim have to have her? She's human, he's an alien... Why did she chose him over me?

(Jet POV)

After school, me and Zim walk back to the house.
"Why was Dib staring at me like all day?" I ask
"I don't know, I don't really appreciate it though..." Zim says
"Don't appreciate it?" I ask
"I mean because your my friend, and all." Zim totally saves that
"Sure!" I say slowly
"What?"
"Nothing, nevermind!"
"Whatever..."
"Hey did you hear? The school is having a dance!" I say changing the subject
"How did you hear? It's your first day!" Zim asks
"The teacher was talking about it. You should've been paying attention!"
"What about the dance, anyway?"
"We should go!"
"We?"
"Oh, come on! Obviously, I mean because we live together!"
"I don't know... I mean, a dance!?"
"Yeah, I know... not your style... but I want to go!" I give him a pouty face
"Really? You only gave me that face because you know I can't say no to it." Zim complains
"Well, I mean, it is an advantage I have!" I laugh
Zim rolls his eyes at me while smiling
"C'mon Zimmerman!" I smile
"Don't call me that, Jetra!" He smiles
"Don't call me that!" I say and smack the back of his head.
