The prompt was to write a hallmark movie. The word count was at a maximum of 2000 words. I wrote 2928.
A Christmas in July special: A Hetero Holiday on Hallmark
Eleanor sighed as she buttoned up her blazer. The blonde stood in front of her mirror, wearing a pencil skirt and 2 inch heels.
"You can take a week off of work, Ellie, surely you have vacation days left?" Her mother said over the phone that sat on her dresser. "I just want to see you."
"I can't leave right now! The Company™ is about to gain an investment, if I land the deal, I'll definitely get that promotion I wanted." Eleanor replied, straightening her blazer. She grabbed her phone walking out of her squeaky clean white house into her big living room. "Look mom, I've got to head to work. Love you!"
"I– I love you too but wait a min–" Eleanor hung up on her before she could finish.
She put her phone in her pocket and grabbed her briefcase, walking out the door of her big house.

While at The Office™ Eleanor was typing away on her laptop when her boss came into her office.
"Eleanor, we've landed the deal!" The Boss™ said happily, "They want people to go to small towns across America to take surveys and we don't have enough low-level employees so I've got to send some of The Higher Ups™. It would be a huge favor if you could go and it might just get you that promotion you've been asking for."
"Oh thank you for this opportunity Mr. Boss! Do you have anybody in Holidaytownsville™?" Eleanor said excitedly. Her mom would be elated if she could come to her hometown and she'd get to work!
"No I don't believe so," The Boss™ replied.

Eleanor drove past the Holidaytownsville™ welcome sign, smiling on the way to her parents house. Suddenly, the car slowed to a stop and she realized one of her tires popped.
Groaning, Eleanor got out of the car crouching down to check on her tire.
"Need help?" she heard from behind her.
Eleanor turned around only to see her Childhood Crush™ standing there. He smiled handsomely, the pinnacle of a straight man.
"Ellie!?" He yelled, walking forward to give her a hug.
She gassed softly, blushing as he squeezed his arms around her. Eleanor returned the hug, laughing lightly.
"Oh my god, Andy!" She exclaimed.
"What are you doing in town?" Andy asked, taking a step back.
"Getting flat tires apparently," Eleanor laughed. "Uh, I'm here for work actually."
"Oh really? They sent the Big City Business Women™ back to her Hometown™ for once?" he said, looking at the tire, "I've got a spare in my truck. Let me change it for you."
"Oh no you don't have to," she stopped herself. "Thank you so much," Eleanor smiled.
"Of course," Andy replied.
Eleanor watched as Andy changed her tire. He was much stronger than the last time she saw him. His brown hair in standard haircut looked like it had just been styled despite the freshly cut christmas trees in his truck and the sweat glistening over his skin.
"So you're working at the tree farm now?" She asked.
"Yeah, my uncle retired and gave it to me a couple years back," he said as he screwed a wrench or something.
