Imagine your in transition and still "dead"

Damon sat on his big bed with your body in his hands. You had been killed by a traveler but you had vampire blood in your system. Damon looked down at your body and his eyes became watery again. He didn't want this for you. He wanted you to grow old and have kids even if he that meant he couldn't be in your life.
"I'm so sorry y/n this wasn't supposed to happen." He begins to sob. He just sits there examining you. From your eyelashes to the scar on your chin, he looks down at your nails and sees there painted black.
"I should've saved you." He says shaking his head. All the sudden your best friend Caroline comes storming into his room.
"What the hell Damon?! You were supposed to protect her!" She yells to Damon who becomes infuriated but stays were he is for your well being.
"I knew you couldn't take care of her."
Caroline mumbles. Damon can't take it anymore and lunges toward Caroline slamming her into the wall leaving your lifeless body on the bed.
"Shut the hell up!" Damon screams in Caroline's face with his hand around her throat. "Whatever" she says pushing Damon to the ground and walking out to find Stefan. Damon sits on the edge of the bed and puts his head in his hands.

"Damon?" You groggily say, your heads pounding and your throat feels dry.
Damon turns around with puffy red eyes.
"What happened? Are the travelers gone?" You ask and Damon just looks at you. The memories flood back of the travel saying something in Latin and you falling to ground in pain, the last thing you saw was Damon being restrained by chains screaming your name.
"Am I?" You croak
Damon just nods. You begin to sob, running your hands though your hair.
"You don't have to if you don't want to." Damon says and you know what he means, you don't have to complete the transition if you don't want to. You look up at him. You pull him closer. "If there's one good thing to come out of this its I get to be with you for eternity. I would never leave you Damon." You say gripping the back of his neck pulling him to your lips.

You spend the rest of the night finishing the transition and having the best sex of your life with Damon.
