How did this happen?! [Temporarily on hold]

Love is....What? Chapter 5

As my teeth landed on skin I heard a yelp and had someone pinned under me, my jowls showing as much as I could bare them. I looked at the wolf and it was my brother Kyle. 'You're an ass, I ripped my favorite pair of yoga pants because of you!' I told him through our mind link. 'At least you have a second pair' he said smiling as much as he could in wolf form at me. 'No actually I don't because I've already ripped them!' I got off of him and gave him a small growl. I quickly ran to where we keep the spare clothes and changed into a pair of exercise shorts and one of Kyle's huge shirts. When I came back out I saw Kyle there in a new pair of clothes. I looked at the two packs in front of me "Everybody this is my brother Kyle, another one of the Alphas on this res, once our parents step down he will be taking the East." Everybody looked at me quizzically, I sighed because it was a confusing process to the whole who gets what land rights "My parents divided up our land into 4 parts, I will receive the North, my brother Sam is receiving the South, my brothers Seth and Xavier are splitting the West, and Kyle gets the East." Erin spoke up clarifying what everybody was most likely thinking, "But Alpha, why are two of your brothers sharing one piece of land? And why aren't one of you a head over the others?" I looked at him, he did have a good point, one once discussed with my parents many times but for some reason I think they are hiding something from me. "I wish I had the answer to that Erin, I've discusses that with my parents but I'm sure they have their reasoning. Seth and Xavier are twins so they get along the best out of all of us... Most of the time." I giggled at the last part and looked at Kyle who smirked at me. I turned back to the packs, I took a deep breath and was ready to get to the stuff they would probably be the least interested in, bonding. "Okay guys, there are a few things I have to talk about with you guys, it's not gonna be the most fun thing to talk about but it's important, please sit in a circle." There were about  25 people between the two packs, about 12-15 people per pack was a normal size. As everybody sat in our circle Erin was on one side of me and Kyle was on the other. It was getting starting to get dark now as the sun was setting and I knew there would be some explaining I would have to do sooner or later so I might as well get it over with now. "Okay so there are a few rules around our res, one of the first ones is that we're a team here so everybody takes turns on guard, we don't make you do 8 hour guards we switch out every four hours so you get guard more often but not as long. Another thing is that like I said we're a team, but now we're not only a team but we're a family. Usually any of my brothers would have put you in separate cabins and let you sort out who was who and where you needed to go. I have a little bit of a different method than that. I believe that to work together we need to be able to know each other like the backs of our hands. If we're in battle I trust that Kyle can predict all of my moved and back me up or follow through for me when I need him without getting in my way and risking harm to both of us." I took a moment to survey everybody's faces, the orange sun hit their faces and illuminated their tan complexions. Their faces were mostly understanding, some a little cautious on wether to trust me or not. "I know you guys just met me today and trust isn't something automatically given but earned. I plan to earn your trust, I will train with y'all, eat with y'all, I will sleep with y'all, metaphorically not physically don't get ahead of yourselves!" I gave a chuckle as some of the boys' face perked up on that thought. "There's another thing you should all know about me," it was almost completely darkened now so where we could barley see each other, "I can't really tell you, it's something I have to show you." I scooted myself a little forward into the circle to where I was visible to everybody but nobody would be harmed. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in, I focused on the sun and the color and the warmth of it, I pictured myself holding the sun in my hands. I felt the warmth start to radiate down my arms through my veins until it reached my hands. I opened my eyes and I had successfully pulled the fire into my hands. Everybody around me had their mouths wide open from shock, even my brother. I hadn't told anybody about this and I was planning on revealing it to my packs first before anybody else, I discovered it last year when I was on guard in the woods and I was thinking about how warm the sun is and what it would be like to hold it in my hands, and then my hands were on fire! I freaked out naturally but I eventually learned to control it, I can also control the other elements as well, water is my favorite and the one I can best channel, wind is my hardest one, it can be very frustrating and takes tremendous practice. "What-what are you?" Asked a young boy probably 15 or so who gapped at me. "I, young man, am a shifter just like you, but the gods seem to have given me a gift, one I intend to use only for our benefit. You all are the first to know about this... Ability of mine. My family does not know except now for Kyle, and now that you are my family I feel it's important for you to know. Speaking of family, Jay where's your alpha?" I turned my head towards him making the fire a little larger in my palms to illuminate his face, he started to open his mouth when he was cut off "I'm right here, sorry about that I wanted to make sure some rouges that have been following us for miles had finally fucked off." I turned my head to look at this boy. He was handsome, brown hair with green eyes which looked almost familiar. He walked up to me and bowed his head "Alpha please excuse me for my absence and I deeply apologize about my beta's assumption that even though you radiate alpha he doubts you because of your sex." I looked at him a little puzzled "How did you-" "Know about that? I'm a mind reader alpha, I'm also a hybrid half vampire half shifter, yet I decided to accept my shifter side allowing me to be an alpha." I was shocked but nodded in understanding considering my situation...
