Recap: "How do we know you fight better than us?!" A voice rang out in the crowd. I slowly turned around danger flashed in my eyes and everyone turned silent.

I gave a chuckle.
"Would you like me to show you? Please step right up." I said. A boy that was taller and probably a year older than me stepped forward.
"I mean I'm already bigger than you I don't want to hurt you." He said laughing, he looked back at his pack to see their reaction. Erin was fuming mad his wolf about to take over him.
"Erin calm your wolf down. I can handle this," I turned to the boy "give me a minute I've already ripped one set of these clothes and these are my favorite pair of yoga pants." I walked away behind a tent, stripped down and shifted. I carefully picked up my clothes in my mouth and took them over to Olivia. She took them out of my mouth and scratched my head
"Beat the hell out of him Kay." She said winking. I walked over to the boy.
'Transform and show me what you got' I said to him growling. He smiled
"I'll try not to beat you too bad princess." He said and he shifted into a gray wolf.
'Bring it on' he said to me. I just sat down
'What are you doing!?!?' He said to me growling. 'Fine I'll make the first move' he said sprinting towards me. As soon as he got close enough I moved out of the way and as he ran by grabbed his tail making him stop suddenly and turn around jowls barring and him growling.
'Enough! I'm not going easy on you now princess' he said. He lunged at me. I quickly dodged it and before he was about to land hit him in his side knocking him to the ground and pinning him. Growling with my teeth around his throat but not biting down.
'If you we're my enemy right now you'd be dead.' I told him. 'You are a good fighter Brandon but you have a lot to learn.' I released him and stepped back. Defeated he got up and bowed accepting me as alpha.
'Forgive me for doubting you alpha.'
'You are forgiven. Now excuse me while I change.' I walked off and Olivia followed me.
"That was amazing Kayla! You really showed him!" She said when she reached me. I shifted back,
"Thanks, it felt good. I hate when people doubt me." I told her while I was changing.
"Oh I know it." She said smiling at me. I laughed, I don't know what I'd do without her in my life. We walked back over to the pack and Erin was yelling at Brandon. I kind of felt bad. He may have challenged my authority because I was a girl but it wasn't an unusual turn of events.
"Erin, don't be so hard on him. I'm sure it was bad enough being beaten by a girl smaller than him." I said smiling and winked at them. Erin looked at me and calmed himself down. Then a smile tugged at the edge of his mouth.
"I suppose that is punishment enough." He said looking at me and winking back. I nudged Brandon with my elbow.
"By the time I'm done with you you'll be as good as me." He smiled at my remark and nudged me back.
"I so took an easy on you."
"Really? Wanna go again?" I asked chuckling. He went a little stiff.
"No, I uhhh.. I hurt my arm." I laughed at that.
"Okay should we continue on the tour?"
"Yes let's continue," said Jay. We continued to walk and a question popped into my head.
"Jay where is your pack alpha?" I asked him.
"He was double checking our trail to make sure no rouges were following us." He said.
"I see. Well to the left is the kitchen. This is where you will eat if my cabin is ever not available. Other than that your packs will be sharing the cabin next to mine. It is big enough for 5 packs. Once the other two packs arrive they will be staying there as well."
"What about the 5th pack?" Asked Erin
"My pack of course. My cabin will be our headquarters. We eat, meet, and plan there.Any questions?" I asked looking around. A boy with redish brown hair raised his hand.
"Yes?" I asked the boy.
"Won't it be awkward you being the only girl in the cabin." The boy asked. Jay shot a glare at the boy muttering something about a disrespectful pup I gave a light chuckle.
"It's perfectly fine Jay. I needed a laugh. I grew up with 4 older brothers it doesn't bother me one bit. My future beta Olivia will also be staying in the house. No she hasn't shifted yet but she will." I said winking at her. Her eyes were locked on a boy with dark brown longer hair and brown eyes. I snapped my fingers in front of her face and she shook her head.
"You okay O?" I asked her. She shook her head.
"Umm.. Kayla can I talk to you for a second?" She said as she pointed toward my cabin.
"Excuse us for a minute. You're free to look in your cabin and explore your floor. Each of your floors has your pack alpha's name. So on the front door look for their name and go to your floor. But please stay in the cabin until I return so I can show you where we're training." The packs nodded and Olivia and I headed back to my cabin.
"What's up O?"
"What does it feel like when you find your mate?"
"Well from what I've heard it's like everything in the world is a blur but that person. It's like floating on air when they look or smile at you. Your wolf instead of overtaking you melts into you."
"I think I found my mate Kayla..." She looked up and looked me straight in my eyes and I knew it was true. I squealed and hugged her.
"Do you know what this means?!?!" I shouted
She laughed, "what?"
"You're gonna shift soon!"
"As long as he accepts me as his mate, Kay."
"He will, I can feel it, now lets go get the boys and show them the training arena" Olivia and I walked outside to where the boys were, I whistled and all their attention snapped to me.
"Time to continue the tour" I said smiling, I spotted the boy who was Olivia's mate.
"You!" I called to him "come here please." He made his way up to where I was, I could tell he was slightly nervous.
"Could you and my beta please go and watch for the 3rd pack coming in I sense then near" I said hiding the grin I so wanted to portray because of the way Olivia's jaw hung open like it was pried open like that
"Yes Alpha" he said to me bowing his head and heading back to the house with Olivia. I sent them a smile and turned my back to continue walking. As I started into the forrest a little bit I started going up the hill until we reached the clearing with a whole bunch training space and equipment scattered across the field. I turned around and looked at all of the boys "This is where you'll be training, we will train 3 days a week unless I feel you need more or less. I have assessed all of you by looks but tomorrow I will assess you on actual skill, then you will be sorted into groups to work on common weaknesses." As I spoke I met each and every person's eye I could. "I know there are doubts on how I will be able to train you guys at all and be able to assess you but you're gonna have to learn to trust me. We are a family and wether you like it or not we're going to stay one." As I was finishing my sentence I hear twigs snapped behind me, I sniffed the air and didn't smell anything but as soon as I heard another twig snap I automatically shift and lunged towards the sound.Yay! I'm writing again! Please let me know how I'm doing!
Love, Kay
