*your POV**
I have been looking up everything about Kira. There has been multiple online sites about him being some sort of 'God' like figure here to correct the world. I write quickly in my notepad all the sites and claims online. The apartment's cold, December is actually getting on my nerves. I look up to check the time on the clock. 11:14 AM, I should probably take a break. I've been at it for five hours. Standing up slowly, I set down my notepad and walk into the kitchen to grab a bite to eat.
The fridge seems bare and empty when I open it. Man, I gotta go shopping again soon, I think to myself. I pull out a kettle and fill it with water, hoping to make some tea.
RINGGG RINNGGG~~!
My phone blares in my pocket. I whip it out and answer it. "Hello?" I ask into the cell. "Hello is this A? L has contacted us about you being on this case." A male voice states through the phone. I drop the kettle, I flinch as it lands on the tile ground. I quickly switch on my voice scrambler. "Y-yes this is true. Does this mean I can work on the case?" I grip the phone tightly. "Yes. You will give L your ideas and statements and he can tell us. Or you can simply contact us at anytime." The male says. Inside my heart bounces around and screams in glee. "Yes, thank you." I manage to say and hang up.
"Yes! Finally something I can live up to, L you haven't changed one bit." I smirk at the cell. My feet rub against the kettle. "Shit, great now I gotta pick this up!" I huff. I grab a towel and mop up most of the water with that. I pick up the kettle and put it away, forget the tea.
I have a date with justice. I have to contact L immediately.
