One lie at a time

We had been sitting in silence for a short time before Alison as always breaks the silence she started.
"Guys, why so glum? We're all satisfied now aren't we Hanna? I heard you got you're prince charming once and for all." She sincerely smiled making me giggle.
"Yeah, I think he really likes me." I blushed looking over at Ali's flashing phone by Spencer's bed side.
"Excuse me lady's." Ali jumped up and took her call elsewhere.
"Don't you guys think she's been acting a little strange lately?" Spencer whispered once the door had shut.
"Strange as in?" Aria raised an eyebrow.
"I don't know.. Just different." Spencer looked over at Emily quietly picking at her nails pretending not to notice.
"Em, what do you think?" I motioned over to her.
"Han, I don't really know.. I think everything is a little off to me right now." She looked back down to her palms.
"Off?" Spencer questioned.
"Just like.. Something doesn't feel right." She looked up at me then Aria who had also become speechless.
"So what'd I miss?" Alison opened the door startling us.
"Oh, nothing." Spencer smiled.
"Yeah-" I began before she interrupted.
"Hold that thought Han, I'm sorry girls but I must go." She stood up before waking out. "See you lady's tomorrow." Then off she was.
"So where were we?" Spencer stood crossing her arms.

We all gathered downstairs for a bite after our worried conversation about Ali my stomach had worn thin.
"Ugh, I'm so hungry I hadn't eaten in like hours." I motioned towards the pancakes sitting near Aria.
"I know last time i remember eating was two hours before the party." Aria handed me a plate giggling.

Our phones chimed in unison.
"That's odd." Aria glanced over at Spencer, Emily, then me.
"I'm sure it's Ali." Emily picked up her phone.
We all read the text before looking up at the reactions of the others. "What the hell is this supposed to mean?" I looked back and forth from my device.
"Bitches, bitches, bitches, oh my. Ali has one foot in the grave where's yours? -A" Spencer read before looking up at Aria first.
"Did we all get this text?" Aria stuttered.
"I think so.." Emily pierced her lips.
