"Ohhh!"

What?

"Someone's got a crush!"

Yeah, yeah. It's no big deal.

"Keep telling yourself that, hun."

I mentally rolled my eyes and sat next to Matt on the couch. "Where are your parents at?" I randomly asked. "Private vacation." He scrunched his nose in disgust. I giggled and rested my head on his lap. "Matthew?" I asked as I looked up at him.

"Hmm?"

"Where's Justin, Zachary, and Ryan?"

"They're around the neighborhood, but they don't go to school. Why?"

"I was just curious."

"Do you like one of them?"

"No, I just have a teeny-tiny crush on Zachary."

"Oh." He looked down at me with jealousy in his eyes.

"Awe. Are you jealous?" I teased.

"Yes."

"You're cute." I stood up and walked towards his room. "Come back here." He chased after me. I jumped under the blankets and tried to hide from him. "Oh, Andy. Come out, come out wherever you are." He sang. "Hmm." He hummed right before he jumped on top of me. "Can't.breath." I managed to say.

He laughed and rolled off to the other side of the small bed. Matthew held my cheek with his hand and stared at my features. "What color are they?" I asked referring to my eyes. "Pinkish-brown." He answered and laughed a bit. Matt kissed my forehead and pulled me towards his chest. My phone dinged meaning that I have a text message.

Unknown: sup babe. want to go out again tomorrow?

Me: cody? how did you get my number?

Unknown: i know some people. now...about that date?

Me: sure. where and what time?

Unknown: i'll pick you up, and at 7 pm. also, make sure to bring a swimsuit ;)

Me: okay.

Matthew was looking at my conversation and he did not look happy. "Really?" He scoffed and stormed out of the room. "Matthew, it's just a date. I never acted like this when you were with Tiffany." I reminded him as soon as I caught up to him in the living room. "Okay, but once you get back; you'll have to tell me everything that happens. Got it?" His eyes turned a pure black. I quickly nodded and hugged him to calm him down. "This is why I love you." He smiled and kissed the top of my head. I smiled back as Burnie ran up to me and attacked me in kisses.

"Down, Burnie." Matt commanded. Burnie quickly obeyed and sat down. "Good boy." He patted and kissed Burnie's head. "Now, one for you." Matt kissed my head. I giggled and got off of the couch. "Where are you going?" Matt complained. I stuck out my hand for him to take it. He kindly accepted before I forcefully dragged him off of the couch.

"Let's do something, it's the weekend." I kindly offered.

"Sure. What do you want to do?"

"Umm...bike riding at the beach?"

"Okay, get ready."

I ran into the restroom and quickly got dressed. *in the media box* Once I was done,  I walked into Matt's room, but spotted him only in his boxers. I screamed and tried to run away, but Matthew grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards his chest. I looked down and blushed. Matt picked up my chin and kissed my nose. "One day." He trailed off.

What did he mean by, "one day"?

"Okay, let's go." I didn't even notice that he was already dressed. I nodded and held his hand. On the drive up there, Matt got a phone call. "Hello...what?!...tomorrow...okay, I'll be there in a while." He finally hung up. "What happened?" My curiosity took over once Matt turned the car around and had tears forming in his eyes. "I-I have to go back to California, without you." He stuttered. "What?" I softly asked in shock. He sniffled and then answered me. "I leave tomorrow morning. Marcus burned down the pack house and I have to go look for them. I can't take you with me, and I might last years over there." Tears were already starting to fall out of our eyes as we walked back into his house. I walked into his room and tried to take everything in. "You're leaving me?" My voice cracked.

He bowed his head and sat next to me on the bed. I embraced him in a tight hug and started to slowly sob. He rubbed my back as tears fell on his shirt. "I don't want to leave you." He managed to say. I pulled back and wiped his tears away as he wiped mine. "I love you." I told him honestly. "I love you." He stared back at me. "Let's make our last day count." I offered and put on a fake smile. "Okay." He gulped and turned on the tv. I nuzzled my face in his chest and inhaled his scent. Matt tightly wrapped his arms around me. We spent that whole night cuddling and watching Disney movies.

"Do you have the last items?" It hurt so bad to ask him that. "Yeah-" he got cut off by the monitor telling him that his flight is leaving in ten minutes. "So, I guess this is a...see you later." I bowed my head and nodded.

"Goodbye, Matthew. I love you." I hugged him one last time for a while.

"Remember, I hate goodbyes."

"Well, see you later."

"See you later." He replied back and lifted my chin with his fingers. We stared at each others eyes for a while. The soft sound of 'A Thousand Years' played in an instrumental version. I closed my eyes and waited for him to lean in. I soon felt his soft lips gently press on mine. I immediately kissed back and held onto his neck as he held onto my hips. Bombs of butterflies felt like they have suddenly burst once I kissed back. I pulled away a little and our foreheads were touching. His breath hit on my tingling lips from the sudden spark.

"Flight 473 to California is now boarding." The monitor announced. "I love you so much Andy, never forget that." Tears started to roll back down his face. "Never forget this." I say right before I quickly replanted my lips back on his. They moved in perfect sync and the feelings felt like they were growing from the first time we've kissed. "Last call for flight 473 to California."

"See you later, Andrea." Matt pulled back a little. "See you later, Matthew." I walked backwards a few steps slowly as he was following my actions. "I love you." He finally mouthed before he ran towards the plane. I wiped my tears and walked out towards Justin's car. "You okay?" Justin was concerned about my sudden outburst once I stepped in the car. "No." I sobbed. He quickly reached over the seat and embraced me into a large hug. Tears kept falling, one by one. "It's okay, you still have that date with Cody tonight, right?" He tried to make me smile. I nodded and wiped under my eyes. I do have that date tonight. I shouldn't let it get to me this bad.
