Niall's POV:

"Niall stop" Mackenzie demanded. But I didn't. I continued flicking my popcorn at her. "Niall.." she said once more, with an evil look on her face.

I flicked one popcorn kernel and hit her square in the forehead. Her jaw dropped has her eyes shot open. Her eyes turned into a playful grin as she continued to stare me down. A grin slowly appeared on her face as she sat very still. I started laughing a little bit, I tried staying as still as her but I couldn't. Before I could do anything, Mackenzie was on top of me trying to get all the popcorn on me and somehow they managed all over her still. I burst out laughing when I seen her sitting there with the popcorn bowl on her head and her arms crossed.

"This funny Horan?" she asked.

"Yes, yes it is Clarke" I said mocking her.

She made another go at me, but sat back down. Only to see if I would run, which I did move slightly.

"Oh yeah, you better run" she said.

She jumped up flicking the empty bowl to the ground and ran at me. I took off making me way around the house. I got myself to the kitchen and went to the far side of the island. She emerged around the corner and went to the other side.

"Where are you gonna go now?" she asked.

Oh she thought she had one up on me, but she didn't. I smirked before I ducked down and I heard her come in my direction. I knew this kitchen island was hollow and had cupboards with nothing in them. I crawled through the island and made a dash out the other side.

"Ha gotcha" I said before leaving the kitchen.

"I'M GOING TO GET YOU HORAN" She yelled.

I dashed to the back deck, knowing the hiding spots on his deck. I ducked down behind a plant near the door. She quietly poked her head around the door with no clue that I was right next to her. She slowly tip-toed onto the deck.

"Oh Clarke you made a fatal move" I winked.

I came up behind her and picked her up over my shoulder. I stood back on so she could see the chilly pool that awaited her fate.

"Niall don't you dare.." she warned. I laughed before releasing her from my grip. There was splash and I turned around. She popped up from the water with a huge glare on her face. "I can't believe you just did that!" she exclaimed. I coudn't help but laugh, and she ended up laughing too. She didn't retaliate, just swam to the side of the pool. "Can you help me up?" she asked, extending her hand.

"Yep" I said.

I grabbed a hold of her hand, only to met with the cold water. How did I not see that coming? Stupid Niall. Stupid.

"Don't mess with me Niall, I am the prank master" she said, waving her finger at me. I took a heap of water in my hands and drenched her once more. "Do you really want to play that game?" she asked. I laughed. She looked adorable. Her hair was all a mess and her makeup was running down her face. She gave me a questioning look as I just stared at her. "What?" she asked.

"Nothing, you just look beautiful" I said quietly.

"Oh shut up" she said splashing water at me.

"What happened here?" Liam said, entering the deck.

"POOL PARTY" I heard Louis shout.

"We're having are barbecue tonight, and the girls are coming over. Perfect opportunity for you to meet them Kenz" Liam said.

"Yeah sure" she said quietly.

Her bubbly personality had soon disappeared as she seemed to float farther and farther away from us, towards the pool steps.
