Chapter II Awakening

Narrator's:

The awakening from an eternal prison caused ripples in the fabric of power that held the earth at balance causing earthquakes, floods, hurricanes and freak lightning storms. The process is long and would take 7 days to complete first day would be the awakening of the consciousness, day 2 opening of the gates of power, day 3 reformation of the immortal aspect, day 4 balancing of the powers, day 5 awakening of memories, day 6 reformation of the former mortal body, day 7 the final day sealing of the immortal and mortal aspects.

Now the prince lay resting on the on his bed on the 3rd floor of their once palatial home in Tuscany although his room and the west wing is seemingly untouched by time the rest of the Medici mansion lay in ruins.

Mat's POV:

I was awoken by a noise like scratching on the walls and I immediately yelled Tiberius zitto sto dormendo (shut up I'm Sleeping in Italian) Tiberius is his sistrs pet cat. But it starts up again so he reluctantly opened his eyes and scanned his room no sign of the cat. So he stood up and stretched with a sigh "Damn its as if i have slept a hundred years" and he noticed the scratching was coming from the door.

So I changed my clothes with the usual black pants hunting boots and a white tunic like shirt that my mother made and a leather coat. And went to open the door and there was nothing unusual so I decided to go straight to the kitchen on the ground floor on the north wing I was so fixated on watching the old paintings wondering whether I would be there on day that I never looked at the window even once if I did I would have discovered earlier that the mansion was so over grown with weeds that its practically a jungle. So when I reached the adjoining double doors that separated my part of the mansion I was in total absolute shock when I opened it "I don't know what to think my home except my wing is in ruins and judging from the state is was in it would be useless to call out the names of my brothers and sister the damage has eroded most of the mansion it was like centuries has claimed the mansion. I felt all strength in me fade as I collapse on the marble floor and silently crying I knew deep down that my family was gone after what seemed like days of crying. I picked myself up and decided that is better to get a move on and see what I can find on what happened here.

I went back to my room an wore my armor and imperial gold sword I was on about to leave when I remembered that my money pouch was under the bed I got it and noticed that a letter was attached to it read

" Mateo Cosmo of House Medici finding this letter means that you have awoken from your slumber we my sisters have blessed you as our Champion and as so we give you the Torevorian sword it was forged by the old Tevinter Imperium the galaxies most powerful race. It was a gift to your great5x grandfather and now it falls to you. Use it well. Also try to discover your old and new powers. We will be seeing you soon".

I snorted since when did evil stop becoming so strong hmmm so I checked to pack and noticed a ring it was made of pure diamond, and another one was pure sapphire and a bracelet that was gold with obsidian and rubies. I wore the diamond ring first and slightly swirled is around my finger admiring the glittering crystal when suddenly a flash and a sickening crack was heard after my eyes adjusted a 3 foot long pure diamond sword was in my hands well balanced and I did not even feel heavy. I tried it on the night stand not caring since the mansion is in ruins anyway I was preparing to slam it on the marble night stand so I tapped it a bit to make sure of my aim but when the blade made contact at the slightest touch the 3 by 2 feet large night stand was broke in half. To say I was grinning like crazy was understatement. So I tried on the other one the sapphire and did the same a bright flash and a crack and voilà I was in a deep blue sapphire armor with a trident on the back glowing and two cross blades in the front. Haha I love the fates I fitted the bracelet expecting a wicked sword bit in its place was a gold and obsidian in the design of a dragon with ruby eyes at first I was confused it covered by whole right arm and fingers then I remembered reading in ancient history it was called a gauntlet "yes I know I read my tutor use to scold me that as a prince I must know how to read and write in Italian, English, Spanish and French although I find Greek and Latin to be very easy must be because of Dad. Speaking of dad I'm going to talk to him after I look around.
