What can I say a girl needs help for chronic pain it adds character who gafs

It was already dark when the audience took their seats. It was another performance night for the circus crew, and for those who weren't performing, it was a fortunate moment of rest.

Seeing it from the perspective of the backstage, it was impressive how their demeanours changed so quickly from rushed to collected, but one supposes it would be years of practice. A lot of people had cleared out from the large tent, meant for lower-string performers to get ready.

Only very few remained in the tent, of course, among the lady and her butler were Ciel and Sebastian, and William, not far.

[Name] leaned against a clothing rack, closing her eyes with a wistful sigh as Ash tied his hair back,

Ciel plopped down onto a stool not far, breathing out in exhaustion, "—Ah...Will I get around to investigating that tent first, or will I keel over from overwork first?" It was fortunate that he was out of earshot of the few remaining circus-goers who were on the opposite side of the tent.

Lifting his head up momentarily to look around, the earl jolted up in his seat, calling for his butler before jogging over to him.

"Sebastian! His mark missed!"

William seemed to hear, [Name] observed as he tilted his head to the side, yet luckily, he was one of the reapers that minded their own business...as long as it didn't interfere with theirs, of course.

Ciel grabbed Sebastian by the lapel of his tailcoat, "We don't know when the next chance will come. Let's get through investigating that tent now!"

"Have it be over within ten minutes!"

"Yes, my lord"

Ash nudged his master, forcing her to lift her head towards the other pair, giving eye signals for her to stop them, yet she shrugged, and before he could question her, watching them leave the tent, another voice was heard.

"Black!" Joker's voice sounded from outside, halting the pair just as they were about to turn the corner away from the tent before the lady could, who turned her head back to her own butler with an 'I told you so' expression.

[Name] and Ash collected themselves and made their way towards them, facing Joker's concerned expression as he held Wendy on his back, her own expression sad and contorted in pain, "Missy Wendy twist'd 'er ankle, so she can't appear in performance 'nymore...So Black,"

"—Please go out in 'er place." He begged, "The show'll be fine if ye do it, Black, so I beg of yer."

The earl grunted in frustration, only turning his head to see Ash and the lady behind them...perhaps.

"It'll be yer turn shortly, so please get ready soon!" Joker warned before heading back, presumably to the medics' tent; the thought of that tent sent a chill through the lady's spine.

"'Tis a pity, young master. We'll have to wait for another chance." Sebastian turned, briefly meeting the eyes of the other pair before it landed back on his young master, who stood deep in thought before [Name] let out a frustrated sigh.

"If you're still going to go through with your plan, leave Joker's tent," She shook her head dismissively before glancing up at the wooden timetable for performances besides them, "Sebastian should have enough time to do whatever your plan was." She glanced back down at the earl.
"And it's your decision, if you don't want us to intervene, but leave Joker's tent...It'll be easier to examine the main and the most important tent without a time limit, so you can leave that...any information to get out of the members themselves, you can leave it to Ash and me..." Her eyes narrowed, but not in scrutiny, "that can also...give you more time to not rush yourself..."
