Chapter 1

Chapter One; Perfect.

My name is Dalanie, im 15 years old and i live in a small down called Willmont, Ohio. It's the one of the smallest towns in Ohio with only 3,000 people. Most people call it "Snooze Ville" or "Lazy Town" because of how quite and how little people there are, but it's where i belong. There aren't beaches or palm trees around evey corner, it's not 80 degrees everyday, and thats why i love it.

Ever since i was about 7, i used to sneak into the woods behind my house until i reached this small, quaint lake just behind the tree line. It's about the only place to go to think and get your mind off things when you have parents like mine. My parents fight constantly, about finances, money and work. Sometimes it gets extreme and dad well he throws things, screams, and sometimes hits when hes mad.... So when they fight, i walk out the back door, to the woods, and down the hill to my paradise.

Latley my parents have been fighting a lot. My mom is threating to move me and herself to California, her home town. Even though i hate my dad, and hate seeing my mom hurt, i dont want to move. Everything is perfect right now, im captain of the dance team at my school, i have so many great friends, and me and my crush have been talking.

If we move it'll be to some big town in Cali. Just where i don't want to be. Hopefully they work it out. Who am i kidding, it only gets worse between them. I think about this in bed until i slowly fall alseep into a peaceful dream.
