First Chance

    Buzzzzzz Buzzzzzzzz.

I roll over, almost falling out of bed, and check my phone. It's already 12:30 P.M I got a text, from Sam?! I slide unlock and read the message.

(From Sam); Hey. I was wondering if you wanted to see a movie and walk on the beach later tonight? (:

   What?? Sam wants to take me out a on a date!?

(To Sam); Um sure, what time?

(From Sam); 7 (:

    Did sam just ask me out on a date? I can't belive this. But do i like him? What if he's a jerk? I guess ill find out later tonight!

      I hear the door open and run down stairs. I've never missed my mom so much so i run to her yelling "MOMMM"

"Hi hunny how has everything been??"

"Well i just got asked out on a date!"

"Well that's great! I'd like to meet him sometime!" She says will putting away a few things

   I realize i don't have anything to wear, so i text Hailey

(To Hailey); Hey!  Will you go to the mall with me?

(From hailey); Yeah! Ill be over in a minute!

    I hear a honk and tell my mom bye and walk out the door.

"So.. Why do you need to go to the mall?" She says probaly assuming something.

"Hmmm, i may or may not have been asked out on a date"

Her eyes get wide and she grabs my arms and starts shaking me "WHOOOOOO??!?!?"

"Sam.." 

"WHAT?? We have to get you something amazing then!"

          When we get there, she litteraly drags me by the arm and pulls me into a dress store. We look around and split up so i can get what i like and she can get what she thinks will look good on me. When we meet up the dresses are stacked past her head. I go into the dressing room and find one i really like. It is mint green at the top and under the bust it's black and flowy about to my knees. I step out of the room and show Hailey

  "OMG YOU LOOK GREAT AAABLDFB" She screetches

         We go back to my house to get me ready. Hailey decides to wave my hair. I did my make-up alittle more than usual. I slip into some flats and By the time we were done it was 6:30, so we take some picutres until we hear a knock at the door.

     I start to geet really nervous, but open the door anyway. Sam is standing here in a v-neck shirt with kakis and vans. Holy shit i can't breathe.

"Hey! Reay to go?" He says taking my hand. aijvnaisbjoef (thats how i feel)

"Yeah! Bye Hailey!"

   We get to his car and he opens the door for me. its really awkward until he turns up the music. Pretty Brown Eyes is on and i can't help but start singing.

"You like Cody too?!" He practically yells

"Of course!" I say with a smile

"Oh i like a girl who likes good music" He says with a wink. I get butterflies in my stomach out of nowhere. I don't think i like Sam.... Or do i...?

   We arrive at a really nice Italian resaraunt. We get inside and go to our table, he pulls out my chair for me. Wow Sam is actually a gentleman!

   At first neither of us talk and then our food comes and the waitress gives us our food and says...

"You guys are such a cute couple!!" I look at Sam lifting an eyebrow

"Oh, We're no-" I cant get the rest of my words out becasue Sam grabs my hands and look at the waitress and says

"Thank you, she's beautiful isnt she"

"Yes she is! Enjoy your meal.a'

     I look at Sam confused

"Hah what was that?? We're not dating??"

"Well not yet but just go along with it!" He says with a wink.

        What does he mean 'Not yet'? This is just a date it's not like it's going anywhere..

       The rest of the time really good! We eat and talk and laugh. Sam is so funny, and cute. Wow... Did i really just say that. After we eat we get into the car a drive to the beach. Once we arrive it's about 8:30 so it's not quite dark. We start walking in the water and then Sam grabs my hand. asdfghjkl is how i feel.

"Thanks for coming on this date... I was pretty sure you hated me and you weren't going to come.." He says shyly

"What makes you think that??" I say looking at him.

"Well you never really acted like you liked me. But i like you so much i had to ask you out."

    This makes me blush like crazy. I can't belive he has liked me for a while.. Sam says we should probably get going back. So we slip into his car and he drives me home. He opens my door for me and we walk up to my porch.

"Thank you for this wonderful date Sam, i had a great time" I say with a huge smile.

"Your welcome anything for a beautifull girl" We stand at my door and thats when he starts to lean in. Oh shit. Im not ready for this. Of course i have to ruin it by saying;

"Thanks again bye!" While pracitally shutting the door in his face. I immediatly regret it and run upstairs

"How was the date?" I hear my mom say but  run up the strairs and shut the door anyway.

    Why did i do that? I ruined it. If i just would've kissed him. But now my first chance with Sam, a boy i thought i would never like, is over...

Hopefully you guys liked it. I didn't really know whhat to do with this chapter so it might suck.
