Lost in This World (O2L fanfic)

A whole new world.

Hey guys! sorry last chapter was so short, but once i get more into the story it will start being longer! Hopefully you guys like the chapter

 I slowly walk to the plain with tears falling down my cheeks. We get to our seats and i put some of my stuff up, but leave out my phone and headphones. I buckle up and the plain starts. I put in my headohones, blast the volume, and sit back until my eyes flutter shut.

Three hours later

I awake to a jolt and open my eyes and quikly look around. I realize that we are about to land. I look over at mom who is reading a magazine, she gives me a small smile and rubs my arm, then goes back to reading. A couple minutes later we have completly landed. So me and Mom gather up our things and get off. We walk to the airport and out to our car.

Right when we step outside a fresh saltly air stings my nose. Im not used to the hot and salty air. But i have have to sadly admit, Cali is beautiful. We get into the car and drive down a road near the beach. All i see is; palm trees, surfers, and skaters. I don't get why everyone is skating. Hm i'll find out sooner or later since ill be living here...

We drive up to a nice house. It's not huge, but much bigger than our old house in Ohio. Mom tells me to take my carry on and go inside while she and the movers get everything. I step into the house and it's even nicer than the outside. There are three bedroom so i can choose between them. I choose the one on the top level and put my things down. Cali is already treating me well! no what am i thinking i can't like Cali. It's not where i belong...

Mom and the movers bring in my things so i unpack them. After a couple of hours and i've unpacked everything, I decided taking a walk around Cali will be good to get used to eveything. I change into some washed out shorts, a plain white t-shirt, and combat boots. I tell mom where i'm going and grab my wallet and phone.

I step outside and walk down the block. We don't live too far from the beach, so i decied to walk there. On my way i get StarBucks and of course, i have to take a selfie with it (common white girl probs)! I walk down the beach with my Sb and and shoes in my hands. I've never been to a beach and right now, im loving it. Ugh i hate to say it, but cali is so great!

I see people on skateboards, and think it would be fun to try one out. I look for a store, but don't see anything. Since i can't find a skate shop, i walk into the mall. I need some new Cali clothes anyway. I walk into Pacsun and go over to the beanies. I look at a few, then select a bright blue one. As i turn around, i bump into some guy and drop eveything. I bend down to pcik up what i dropped, and as i come back up i see a cute boy about my height stangding infront of me. He has dark brown eyes, rosey red cheeks, and his hair is pushed up in the front.

"I'm so sorry!"

"Whatever it's cool" i say a little too harsh.

"I'm Sam, Sam Pottorff, nice to meet you" He says in a flirty voice

"Oh hi i'm Dalanie Collins, nice to meet you too." I walk off to buy my items. thinking about how he didn't even help me pick up my suff. I dont even wamt to think about boys. After that i leave the store. I love American Apperal so walk into there. After an hour or so i am fairly hungry, so i go get a quick samwich (hah see what i did there ok no). Of course i turn around and see Mr. Pottorff and im guessing on of his friends.

"Long time no see huh?" He says with a wink

"Yeah sure" I fastly try to walk away, but sam grabs my hand and says;

"Whats the rush? We need to get to know eachother right??" He says with another wink. If he is trying to be a flirt, it's not working.

"Come sit with me and Kian!" He says as pulls to me to a table

"So Dalanie, tell us about yourself!"

"Why should i? I barley know you too!"

"Comon Collins! Just tell us some stuff!" Kian says.

"So do you live here? We've never seen you before."

"No, i just moved from ohio..." They ask me a few more questions, then i tell them i need to go.

"Can we get your number?"

"Ummm..." Before i can even say an answer Sam has my phone and they both put their numbers in, throw my phone back to me, and run off. At least they are gone! Hopefully i don't have to deal with them again..
