Knox's POV
He walked upstairs slowly, passing Rayn's door. He stopped and listened to her. "I can't do this anymore..." She said to herself, quietly crying. He walked in slowly and she looked up at him, tears in her eyes. Knox knelt beside her and wiped her tears away. "What's wrong..?" He asked. "I miss him...you know. You know...how it felt? When he died in my arms..?" She said to him. "No. I don't know how that feels...I know you miss him. I know how hard it is to let go like that." He said to her, putting his hand on her shoulder. "You're gonna be okay." He said and pulled her into a warm hug. "I promise.." She cried into his shoulder and hugged him back tightly. "Thank you.." "Anytime." He slowly broke away, and got up. He walked out of her room and down the hall to his room. He heard footsteps coming towards his room and Rayn appeared in the door way. She walked in and crawled into bed with him, not saying a word. "Only tonight." He said and wrapped his arms around her. She nodded and slowly fell asleep in his arms.
Rayn's POV
"C'mon Rayn! Get up!" Knox said, grabbing the blanket off her. She groaned and pulled her legs up to her chest. "Don't make me..." He warned her, a devilish grin on his face. She kept her eyes shut and tried to fall back asleep. He jumped on top of her and started tickling her. "NOOO!!!" She cried out in laughter and tried to scramble away but Knox was too strong. "What's the magic word??" He asked her still tickling her. "PLEASEEEE" she begged him. "Nope." He said with a wicked grin. "You have to say "Knox is a sexy beast" for me to stop tickling you." She looked at him and shook her head. "Fine. Have it your way." He said and continued to tickle her. "OKAY FINE, KNOX IS A SEXY BEAST!!" She yelled and crawled away from him. "I know I am." He said winking at her and walked downstairs.
Sorry for such a short chapter. I want to change my style of writing this book because it will just be easier for me. Thanks (:
