maybe forever (a jai brooks fanfic)

Chapter 5

This chapter is really short but it's a cliff hanger ooooooo.

I stood behind the front door waiting for a car to park in my driveway. I was absentmindedly looking out the small rectangle windows on the side of the door frame when a small silver car parked and jai hopped out of the passenger seat in the front.

I opened the door which kind of startled jai.

"Hey Lola, you ready?"

"Sure am!"

I tried to sound jumpy but it was school, i was technically going to hell. Yay.

I jumped in the back next to luke, on the way there it was just small talk mainly directed at me. It was just a few simple questions like how's penola, whats it like moving schools, favourite and least favourite teachers, just stuff like that.

By the time we got to school and got to our lockers i'm pretty sure the whole school had starred at luke, jai and myself.

I met up with the girls in care group and we talked about me rocking up at school with luke and jai.

"Omg what were you thinking!?" Chrissy asks. She sounded mad?

"Um jeez i'm really glad that beau could give me a ride?"

"No omg you're gonna get a lot of shit for this, seriously nobody likes the brooks brothers i mean like everyone thinks they're really nice and seem fun but jake hates them so the whole school sort of avoids them or else they will get a bashing"

Wait what? The school doesn't like the brooks' all because of one person?

"Wait so just because of jake the whole school hates the brooks'?"

"And james and daniel"

This had sort of started as a conversation with just chrissy and i because the other girls were talking with themselves.

"Thats only half fucked up!"

I was really angry i know what its like to be bullied.

"It's just because jake thinks that they will over take his popularity"

"But people know that you go out with beau?" Beau was luke and jais brother if they hate luke and jai then they would hate beau aswell?

"Beau doesn't go to school, he's irrelevant to him"

"Wow"

It was the end of lunch and i was lost i had no idea where my next lesson was as to an apparent class change and my hands were full of books and notes.

There was a blonde girl strutting through the hallway.

"Who do you think you are?"

She spat at me.

"Excuse me?"
