Chapter 9

*lola's pov*

"Jai what the hell were you doing?"

I was walking along with jai this morning when bang! he walked right into a pole, and knocks himself out.

"Um i can't remember"

*jai's pov*

I can remember exactly what happened i was daydreaming about the gorgeous girl right next to me when i walked straight into a fucking pole. In fact i've been dreaming about that girl for about one and a half hours now according to the dodgy clock on the wall.

My head hurts and i'm tired, and hungry, and itchy and uncomfortable. I'm really not sure if i'm in the nurses office or at the hospital but either one and i still don't like it. I presume that i'm at the hospital or else Lola probably would've been forced to go back to class.

"Lola why did you stay?"

"Because you were unconscious and have a huge lump in the middle of your forehead and i also care"

Aw she's the cutest, i'm really grateful she was here when i woke up.

"Your mum......gina?" She raised her eyebrows as if she was asking 'did i get it right?' So i gave her a slight nod and she carried on. 

"Yeah Gina went to go and get some coffee she'll be here any minute.

And as if she was right on cue my mother walked through the door with a small coffee cup in her right hand.

"JAI, YOU'RE AWAKE FINALLY ARE YOU OKAY? CAN YOU REMEMBER ME? CAN YOU STILL SEE?"

"Woah woah mum it's fine, i'm fine just a hit to the head, the only reason they took me to hospital was because of the excessive bleeding, right lola"

"Well thats what it says on his sheet" she says standing up at the end of my bed and grabbing the piece of paper from the clipboard

"I'm just worried that's all" mum states

"When can i go home?" I ask, i fucking hate hospitals.

"Now, if you like? you could've gone home a while ago but i didn't want to wake you" Lola replies.

I jump on the opportunity 

"Yes, yes i want to go home now"

When i got home i slept and ate. I think i emptied the fridge.

I was sat in the lounge with rugs over my sweat pants and crew neck nike jumper.

"You are the biggest dud i know" luke comes into the lounge with his school bag and penola uniform on.

"twins"

"not in my books, what kind of idiot slams into a pole then has to go to hospital for the slightest scratch on their head?" luke asks although he can see the blood stained gauze on my head.

"sorry i can't remember you? i think i hit my head to hard" i start then yell out "Mum why's there a dickhead in our loungeroom?"

luke gives me a dirty look

"expect to hit your head harder when Beau comes home.

when Beau did come home at 5:00 he was on my side and luke was so pissed that he forced me to sleep on the couch, which i didn't really have a problem with i just whined a little bit so Luke though i was mad at him, poor thing has no idea i won that round.
