Chapter 3

We spent the 10 minute walk to the cinema talking about family, friends, life at my old school, pets anything we could really think of.

as we stumbled through the double doors to the cinema it came to a massive opening half of the space was filled with popcorn, lollies and drinks while the other half was the ticket booth. Jai led me up to the first free booth and asked me what i wanted to see.

"I haven't seen pitch perfect yet, have you?" I asked i really wanted to see it the critics have given it great reviews and it had one of my favourite actors, Rebel Wilson is in it.

"No, apparently its really good though! Lets watch it!" Jai announces as he steps forward to the booth.

"Hello how can i help you?" A cheery red headed girl asked us

"Two for pitch perfect please" jai asks

"We aren't showing it for another half an hour but you are free to wait or pick another movie"

Jai looks down at me asking me which i prefer through his eyes. I dont know how to explain it its like staring into his brain. Haha idk.

"We can wait i dont mind" i say hoping that he wanted to wait as well.

We turn around and see a red two seated velvet couch and walk over to. I'm just glad i get to sit down. I don't like to walk places, or run, well actually i don't like exercise at all. What can i say? I'm unfit.

"So why did you move to this side of melbourne?" Jai asks

I hate this question, alot.

Because

1) i dont trust anyone enough for them to know why.

2) i can't lie.

3) people will eventually find out i lied to them and all hell will break lose.

"Erm i, well my mum no my dad sorry he ah got a job here"

Plot twist: i'm a freaking god at lying.

"Oh okay, what does he do?"

"He's a doctor, at the royal. He got an offer from one of the head doctors, drew garison. We decided to move because it was easier for all of us to be with him more often"

See no stuttering when theres no lies.

"Oh cool seems like a pretty high priority sophisticated hospital to me, it would be a great place to work"

"Yeah he enjoys it"

"I hardly know you and there is only one way to get to know someone better"

Is he offering sex or something? Creep.

"How" i say nervously

"20 questions of course!"

Cue the 'thank goodness' sighs.

"I'll start" jai says rolling his eyes up as if he was looking into his brain.

" 1) favourite colour"

"Yellow"

"2) favourite celebrity"

"Ed sheeran"
