49: On My Way

Your POV:

"I have my clothing...electronics...accessories..and my teddy bear."

     I zipped up my bag and placed it on the ground. Tomorrow is the day we leave. I'm scared but excited at the same time. I really want to see why Camila is ignoring me all this time.

I laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling blankly. My eyes began to feel heavily. Soon I was knocked out.

*Ringg*

I immediately sat up and groaned. I reached under my pillow to get my phone but it wasn't there. "Fucking shit," I muttered as I lifted my pillow. "Really?" I groaned. I stood up from my bed lazily and lifted the blankets. And there it was on the edge of the bed.

I grabbed my phone and answered it. "Hello?" I said and my voice came out raspy. I hate my morning voice. "DUDE!! ARE YOU READY!!!" I pulled the phone away and groaned. "Why the fuck are you screaming Ash?!" I said a little too harsh. I'm not a morning person at all.

   "It's 5:00 Y/N! We have to get to the airport and- wait. Did you just wake up?" She asked. I scratched the back of my neck and said,"uhhh no?"

  "Ugh. Get dressed and eat something. I'm calling an uber to get you and I. Hurry up!" Before I could say anything she hung up. I threw my phone on the bed and walked to my closet. I decided to wear sweat pants,a tie die shirt,and a Nike sweat shirt that covers my shirt. I didn't want to dress all nice because I'm just going to the airport.

   After getting dressed,I did my usual morning routine.

The sound of my phone brought me to a stop. I took out my phone from my pocket.
"What Ash?"

  "I'm here! Hurry your butt up and get out of your apartment!!" She shouted. She's so fucking loud. "Yeah I'm on my way," I quickly hung up and grabbed a nutrition bar from the pantry. I ran to my bedroom and grabbed my backpack and my  Roller bag.

   I put on my backpack and picked up my other bag with my right hand. "I turned off everything," I said to myself as I scanned the room. "Okay,"' I sighed out. I put on my Snapback that was on the counter and grabbed the keys.

I locked the door and jogged down the stairs carefully. "Over here loser!" I see Ashley waving her hand frantically,standing near the car.

  I laughed and handed her my bag. "Dang this is heavy. Are you moving to Alabama or something?" She joked and I rolled my eyes. I got inside and she did the same thing. "Hi! You guys ready?" The driver asked and Ashley and I looked at each other. "YES!" We shouted.

"Thank you," we said and gave him the money. We carried out bags inside and looked around. "Let's go!" Ashley said excitingly.

*skip plane ride*

     "We're here,you doofus," Ashley shook me. I opened my eyes and looked outside the window. "Come on get up," Ashely patted my shoulder and got up from the seat.

*inside airport*

  We exited the tunnel and we started walking. As we were walking something caught my eye. "Wait!" I held her shoulder so she can stop walking. "What?" She asked confused. "I wanna go there," I pointed to the store and she nodded. We entered the little shop and I was immediately in awe. A bunch of penny boards were hanging on the racks and vans in another area.

  "I'm gonna look at the shoes," Ashley said and walked away. "Hello ma'am. Do you need any help?" A women asked. "Um no thanks," I said politely and she nodded.

  I walked to the penny boards and mouthed 'wow'.

    I grabbed one of the penny boards that had purple wheels and the board was light blue.

    I checked the price and my eyes widen. Damn it's more expensive than mine. I held on to it and walked to the other side of the shop to find Ashely. I finally spot her and she was on her tippy toes reaching for the red vans on the top shelf.

I chuckled and walked beside her. "Need help?" I asked and she nodded. I got on my tippy toes and grabbed it. "You want these?" I asked her as I handed it to her. She inspected it and she bit her lips thinking.

"Nah," she gave it to me and giggled. "Did you make me get that on purpose?" I asked and she nodded. "WOW," I returned the vans on the shelf. I pushed her shoulder playfully and we walked to the register.

   "What's with the penny board? Don't you have like.." She paused and counted using her fingers. "Three?" She showed me three fingers.

   "Yeah but this is for someone," I said to her. "Next!"

  Ashely and I moved up. I placed the Penny board on the table and smile at the cashier. "That'll be $109.00," she said as she scanned the price tag. "Here," I handed her my card.

  "Would you like it in a bag?" She asked,giving my card back. "Um no thanks."

   She gave me the penny board and I gave her a quick thanks. "Now let's call an uber," Ashley spoke.
