Your POV:

"Today is the dayyy!" I heard Ashely sing, but it came off more of a loud screech loudly. "Hey shut up! We're still sleeping asshole!" A guy from the room next door shouted from the other side of the wall.

"Get up Y/N!" Ashley jumped on the bed. I could feel her inching closer to me with every jump.

"Okay okay I'm up," I sat up, hitting her with a pillow in hopes she'd stop. "Aren't you excited??"

"I am, but you should know by now I am not a morning person," I whined as I pushed myself to get up from the bed.

"Oops..well let's hurry-" she jumped off the bed making this bang noise.

This girl really didn't care.

"—because there's breakfast downstairs. I'll meet you there, okay?" She finished. Before I knew it, I could hear her steps fade away and leave the room.

I walked up to my luggage, looking around and contemplating on what to wear. Finally after a good 15 minutes of just staring at my clothes, I placed the outfit on the bed and went to the bathroom to do my routine. I decided to wear long straight 501 dickies jeans, a white collared short sleeve under a baggy sweater, black converse, and topping if off with silver rings.

After getting ready and spraying some perfume, I grabbed my backpack, slinging it over one shoulder. I grabbed the skateboard on the floor, sticking that in my backpack as well. Along with the skateboard, I grabbed my plain sunglasses on the counter before looking at myself in the mirror to see if I looked presentable.

I could myself internally panic, but pushed it off until I actually saw her. The excitement on my face was quite obvious. Made me wonder how people that were in long distance relationships contained their cool when they waited for their partner to arrive at the airport/train station.

Clearly, I couldn't keep it together. My mind was all over the place.

I walked my way up to the cafe in the hotel that was near the lobby. Inhaling the smell, the smell of fresh coffee mixed with a brand new hotel smell intoxicated my nostrils. I didn't know how to feel about it.

My eyes scanned around trying to find Ashely in this crowded cafe. A lot of business people stuck their noses in their laptops, too invested on whatever they were doing.

Soon after, before I knew it, I could see Ashley shoving bacon furiously in her mouth like a man woman. I chuckled to myself. Letting her do her thing, I decided to make my way to the buffet table to get my food. My stomach growled loudly at the smell of the fresh food. I glanced around, hoping no one heard it.

I picked up a plate from a stack and then grabbed the serving spoon.

After getting certain foods, I walked straight to where Ashely was. "Oh, hey!" Ashely mumbled with her mouth full.  I could see a couple of food crumbs escape her mouth. "Oh my gosh Ash." I laughed while placing my plate down.

"Why are you bringing your skateboard?" She shot a curious look as she wiped her mouth with a napkin. "Surprise," I teased her. I took off my backpack and placed it under the table. "Honestly, I don't care." Ash shrugging her shoulders before taking another bite of her food, but I knew deep down she wanted to know. She was always nosey.

"After this, we'll get a uber to see your girlfriend." Ashely teasingly said as she wiggled her eyebrows.

I could feel myself getting nervous again just by thinking of meeting her. I mentally cursed to myself.
