Alison's POV:
I head downstairs to hand Officer Fields the towel. Once I saw her I realized she was really soaked. My mom offered her some of my clothes while she puts her uniform in the dryer. Currently I am in my room handing her a t-shirt and sweatpants.
"I'll be downstairs ok." I say.
"Yes thank you." She says.
Several minutes later she comes downstairs in my clothes. She looks sexy but sexier when she's in her uniform.
"There your uniform is in the dryer." My mom says.
"Thank you, Jessica." She says.
"No problem." My mom replies.
We then sit down in the living room, she's across from me. While I'm beside my mom. We start talking about several different things, well most like my mom and her. I can already tell that my mom gets along very well with her.
"So you're actually from Canada?" My mom asks her.
"Yes I am."
"That's very nice and who are your parents?" My mom asks.
"Pam and Wayne Fields." She says.
"Wait Pam Fields?" My mom questions.
"Yes do you know her?" Officer Fields asks.
"Do I know her, please she was one of my best friends. I have to talk her soon." My mom says.
"Great I'll tell her." Officer Fields says.
"Um Officer can I ask you a question?" I ask.
"You just did, but go ahead." She smiles.
"What's your first name, if I can know." I ask.
"It's Emily Fields." She says.
"Cool thanks." I say.
"Well I think your clothes are ready." My mom says.
"Yes thank you." Emily says as she follows my mom.
I check my phone and see that I have no signal, I look outside the window and it's still raining pretty hard. I sigh and sit back down but I'm enjoying Emily's presence here.
"Officer Fields is pretty nice isn't she." My mom says.
"Yes mom, she is." I reply.
"When is dad coming back?" I ask.
"He'll probably be here in two days." My mom replies.
"Cool." I say.
"This thunderstorm has gotten pretty bad." My mom says.
"Yeah but it was sunny this morning." I say.
"Yeah but you see how the weather changes." My mom says.
"Yep."
Emily then comes back in the living room with us. This time with her uniform on, suddenly we hear thunder. It made me flinch and she laughed.
"It's not funny." I say.
"It is." She says.
We then hear it again but this time close by. We get up and look through the window, there's a tree in the middle of the road.
"I didn't thought it would be this bad." My mom says.
"Yeah." Emily says.
Another thunder strikes but this time the electricity goes off. I got really scared so I grabbed the closest arm, which I can't really see since it's dark. What's weird is that I can feel a muscular arm, meaning it's not my moms. At the same time a flashlight goes on with very powerful light.
"It's ok Alison." Emily says.
"Jessica are you ok?" Emily asks.
"Yes I'm ok but I think there's a flashlight upstairs." My mom says.
"Here you can take this one while you look for it." Emily says.
"Yes thank you be right back." My mom says.
I sit down back on the couch with my arm wrapped around Emily's. We are now sitting side by side when another thunder strikes. I flinch again earning a laugh from Emily.
"Are you really that scared?" She asks.
Emily's POV:
Alison sits back down with her arm wrapped around mine. We are sitting side by side when another thunder strikes. Alison flinched and I laughed.
"Are you really that scared?" I ask.
"Yes, you don't know how easily I get scared." She says.
We hear more thunder and this time she grabs my arm tighter. It's not that I complain but I'm actually enjoying her presence. Her mom then comes back downstairs with another flashlight.
"Here you go Emily, thank you." She says.
"No problem." I say.
"Don't mind Ali, she gets scared easily." Jessica says.
"Yes I can really tell that." I chuckle.
"For real it's not funny!" Alison says.
"Yes it is!" Jessica and I say in unison.
"Ugh." Alison complains.
"10-2 do you copy?"
"10-2 I copy." I say
"We have a 10-13 so you're 10-10." I hear from the other line,
"Yes ok 10-10A." I say.
"10-26."
"10-26." I respond.
[guys I'm not a cop so I barely know the codes 😂 deal with it]
"Wow how can you understand that?" Alison asks.
"Studied all those codes." I say.
"Yeah I could barely understand a word." Jessica says.
"Well basically they just said a weather and road advice. That I'm off duty since the storm and I should stay home. That was all." I say.
"Those little codes for such big meanings?" Alison asks.
"Yeah it's no big deal." I say.
"Well because you understand all that." Jessica laughs.
"Yeah you're right." I say.
"I don't think the storm is stopping any time soon." Jessica says.
"Yeah I don't think so either." I say.
"Well it's getting late, we have no electricity and I'm hungry!" Alison says.
"Yeah then I'll prepare us some sandwiches." Jessica says.
"Need help?" Alison asks.
"No it's ok, stay with Emily while I'm gone." Jessica says.
"Ok." Alison says.
Then there's a loud thunder and this time Alison jumps. I guessed of how scared she is she hugged me. I hug hug her back trying to make her feel safe.
