News Broadcast:

"Eric Parrott was taken out of his high school on Monday, August 24th, at around 12:45 PM. Eric was known to be a quiet kid, but once you saw him with his family at home, we was the bright sunshine filled little boy they all know and love." The reporter said

"Eric was taken right out of his Algebra class by what was said to be a special team working for the government. The large team of heavily armed men came by helicopter, and dropped down in the schools parking lot. When they charged into the building, they showed the security guard at the desk what appeared to be special badges for a top secret group that was run by the U.S. government. Since the group of men clearly seemed at a higher authority, the security guard allowed them to enter. They immediately charged into Eric's classroom, and dragged him out by the arms. They didn't say anything to anyone else, and brought him up into the helicopter and flew away. There has been no information released by the government about weather or not this team was actually sent by them or not, or where Eric is now. Friends and family members are distraught about Eric's disappearance/kidnapping and are praying that he will soon return home, safe and sound. This has been Sarah Belmont on NBC news Chicago."

I woke up in a haze. How long had I been asleep? I looked around the room that I was in. It was all white with padded walls. There was a fair amount of furniture in the room, like a desk and a table. There was also a large window that took up the whole wall. There appeared to be a sliding glass door. I also came to find that there was a surveillance camera in the room. That was nice. Watching me sleep aye? Tell me how fun that must be.

I propped myself up on one elbow, then immediately began to shake. It was such an effort to even hold myself up! I fell back down onto whatever I had been laying on, presumably a bed, because it didn't hurt, and was actually really comfortable.

"Good Morning Student 2008721!" A robotic female voice said cheerfully

My eyes snapped open. Hovering right before my eyes was a blue cartoon jellyfish. It was floating around in the air, smiling at me. This is not possible. If you don't wake up in the next three seconds then you're in trouble. I squeezed my eyes shut, and then opened them. IT WAS STILL THERE.

"It's time to get ready for today! I understand that for the first couple days you aren't going to have a lot of strength, but over time you will be good as new!" The jellyfish said happily.

"What are you?" I asked

"I am your personal AI companion!" The jellyfish said "I have been created to be your friend and guide while you are here!"

"Do you have a name?" I asked

"No, I do not. Would you like to give me a nickname?" The jellyfish asked

What the heck are you supposed to name a jellyfish?

"How about munchkin?" I said "That's what my dad called me when I was little."

The jellyfish did a little flip and grinned super big. "Alright, my nickname is set to munchkin. Would you like a nickname?"

I thought about it. I didn't want to have my name changed to a number. "Call me Eric." I said

Munchkin did a little flip "Your nickname has been changed to Eric."

I looked around the room again. I wondered if the AI could tell me anything.
