I hung up my last photo that I took from my Polaroid. It was picture if me and Chloe holding our arms out in front of an amazing view of the beach at sunset.... I know, so clichè. I stood back to look at my wall of memories caught on a camera. The low light from my lanterns gave my room this peaceful vibe. I smiled and nodded my head as I was listening to some emo/rock & roll music. Ever since I started listening to this kind of music, my mom thinks I'm depressed. To be honest, I take this all from my best friend Chloe.
Her crazy blue hair and sense of style always intrigued me. I do have to say that her new style came from when her dad, William, passed away in a pretty wicked car crash. I feel bad for the girl. William was like a dad to me and I've known him for almost my whole life. Now he's gone and Chloe has this creepy old man named David Madsen, who's also the security guy at my school, as a step father. God knows why he's hired, but I guess the administration was desperate.
I lied down on my bed and looked up at the ceiling, listening to my emo music. I think I took a quick nap, I think... It's one of those moments where I don't know if I feel asleep or not. Anyways, I looked at my phone and see a text from Finn,"Hey, just wanted to see if you can hang out in the library at 5." I looked at my clock. It was 4:30. I have a choice to either actually try and get ready, or just be a lazy person and fall asleep again. To my surprise, I actually wanted to try and get ready.
I shot up from bed and put on a light sweater and texted him back saying,"Be there in a few." I ran out the door with my backpack with a book that was way overdue at the library, my camera, and other girl stuff. I can tell this was gonna be fun.
I really didn't know how to start the story but I have a few good ideas for the story already... *gives evil laugh*
