Life Is Strange

Predictions

   "Hey, you can sleep over at my house," Chloe said. I nodded my head yes. I don't know if I'll be able to go to school tomorrow. About what "happened". For now, I can keep it a secret that only me and Chloe understand.

   "I'm hungry, can we get something to eat," I said while my stomach growled. "Sure, we can go to my mom's diner by the beach, we can get free lunch," Chloe said with a huge smile. Chloe's mom, Beth, is a waiter at a diner called The Seaside Diner well, because it's by the seaside. I'm not going to lie, their fish & chips are the bomb.

   We hopped into Chloe's old pick-up truck and drove to the diner, which was about a 15 minute drive. We walked through the doors and saw Beth. "There's my favorite girls,"Beth said standing behind the counter. Chloe rolled her eyes,"Yeah, mom." We sat at a booth at the corner to talk about my crazy superpower. We both sat down. Beth came over with a notepad, they ones they have at restaurants, "What do you guys want," "The usual,"Chloe said. "The usual" for us was fish & chips with lemonade. We loved getting those since we were kids. "Okay," Beth said after jotting down stuff on her notepad. "Now tell me about this...superpower," Chloe said. "Well, I don't really know what to tell you." I said. "If your saying you have the power to rewind time, prove it." "How?" "Tell me what happens in a minute then" "Okay" I waited for about minute to pass by. Out the window, I saw a cop car chasing another car. Shortly after, I saw a waiter behind the bar drop a couple of glasses. Then yelling came from kitchen. Okay, I think that's enough to prove to Chloe. I held out and my vision started to get hazy.

There sat Chloe asking the same question that she asked moments ago,"Tell me what happens in a minute then." "Okay, well, there will be a car chase with a cop and a another car out that window, and a waiter behind the bar will drop a few glasses," I said very confidently. "Okay, guess we have to wait and see,"Chloe said. And just like that, all the stuff that I "predicted" started happening. Sirens from out the window started to appear. There goes the cop car with the car. Then there goes the clumsy waiter dropping the glasses. "Wicked cool Max,"Chloe said, "C'mon let's go to the junkyard and put your power to use," "Wait, what about the food?" I saw Beth holding up some plates and walking towards our table. "Oh, mom, well just take them to-go, were gonna go...to the beach and eat our lunch there." Chloe never had a problem lying to her parents. I never really quite understood how she does that. "Oh, okay, I'll put them in to-go boxes for you.", Beth then walked back to the kitchen.

We pulled up to the junkyard. We always used to hang out here, don't know why, but we used to. We grabbed our food and sat down on a old red car. We started eating. "Okay, tell me what happens in a few moments,"Chloe said. I already rewinded before hand because I knew that she would ask these questions. "Well, there will be a flock of geese coming through here right now," I pointed to the sky and there it was, a flock of geese flying through the sky. "And then a squirrel will run past now," a squirrel then ran past. "And then you will drop a French fry," and I saw Chloe drop the French fry. "Max, your amazing," Chloe said. My head started to ache a little. Maybe I was hungry, so I grabbed a fry. My nose started to get a little itchy so I rubbed my nose. I looked down at my hand and saw a smear of blood. Crap. "Max, you alright," Chloe questioned, "okay that's enough with the time thing," I started to feel lightheaded and my vision started fading. "Max," I heard Chloe yell. And I dropped to the floor.

   Sorry I haven't posted that much, but now I'm on break so I'll start writing more ^~^
