"Thanks for going shopping with me, we've needed to hang out." Lilly said, as I was grabbing my bags from the back of her car. Our shopping trip had gone fairly well, we both had found what we needed and the stress of looking good didn't hang over our heads anymore.
"Yeah, no problem. I had a lot of fun. Are you gonna ride over to Nina's party by yourself tomorrow?" I asked. I closed the back door and turned to look at her, smiling.
"Atlas and I are driving over together. You're going with Mikey I'm guessing." I nodded and made my way around her car and over to the front door of Mikey's house. I could already hear the music from the basement and even though I didn't want to cut Lilly off, I really wanted to hang out with the guys.
"Well, I've better head inside. I'll see you tomorrow." I waved at Lilly and opened the door to the house, quickly walking inside. The music was even louder inside, but it brought a large smile to my face. Mrs. Way walked through the kitchen doors, to the room I was standing in, her apron was covered in flour and what looked like chocolate.
"Everly! It's so good to see you. The boys have been waiting for you, would you mind taking some cookies down to them?" She asked, a toothy grin on her face. I nodded and followed her into the kitchen where she handed me a tray full of chocolate chip cookies.
As I began to walk down the stairs, the music stopped and a short shadow appeared at the bottom. When the figure finally became visible, a smile was brought to my face. Frank stood with his guitar hanging at his side and a water bottle in his left hand.
"Everly. It's nice of you to finally show up. Thought you might have stood us up." He said, a smirk plastered to his ever too cocky face. Frank was a diva, and even though I love him he can be quite annoying.
"Well, Mr. Iero, I've made it now so it's all okay. Now take these damn cookies before I throw them at you." I walked down the last few steps before I was standing about a foot away from frank. He let out a huff and grabbed the plate from me before shifting on his feet and walking back into the room. I followed after him and smiled at all of the guys once I saw them.
"You're just in time, we were getting ready to practice our song." Gee said, referring to my favorite song that we had written together. I smiled and walked over to a pair of speakers that had what I'm guessing Mikey's bass plugged into them, I sat down on top of it, just like I had at their other practices.
The guys began to play, and eventually Gerard sang. Soon I joined in, harmonizing and then singing some of it on my own. Throughout the song I had begun to walk around the small room with my mic, instead of just sitting on the amp, and gee did the same. As the song neared to an end I got closer to Mikey, standing by his side with my hand on his shoulder, eventually.
"Way down, way down, way.. Down." I sang the last few words and then set my microphone back in its stand. A pair of arms wrapped around me while I was doing it, and by their scent and the feeling of the bass pressed gently against my back, I knew it was Mikey. I turned around so I was facing him, placing my hands on his chest once I did so. He bent down and placed a kiss on my lips, a quick one, but enough to make me smile like a complete idiot.
"Thanks for coming to practice, I was worried you wouldn't make it." He said, tucking a stray strand of hair behind my ear. I blushed and stood in my tip toes so I could whisper in his ear.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"Mom! I'm leaving, I'll be home later tonight!" I yelled as I reached for the door knob on the front door. I was already running late, of course, so I didn't want to bother with the whole "responsible daughter" rant. Avoiding my mom was the best way to avoid that.
