Mr. and Ms. Campus 2006

So it’s already 4th week of January. It’s exactly Wednesday. Our class president in our section decided to make me and Adam as the representative of Mr. and Ms. Campus 2006, a competition on our university with a girl and boy representative from each section. It’s like a beauty and brain contest. But it’s available for boys too. They announced it on the 2nd week of January. The classmates of the two representatives of each section were required to do the costumes made from recycled things.   

I was really nervous that time. We were practicing for almost 2 weeks. I want to win that fight just like on the swimming competition. with my partner, Adam I knew we can do these!

It’s Friday. The program will start at 1:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

For the Casual Wear, I got a red dress with red necklaces and red bracelets as the accessories and red high-heels. With my simple make-up, I model it in font of them.

Adam got a long black sleeves, pants and shoes and a red bowtie. Red is our team color. =))

For the sports way, we decided to be a cowgirl and a cowboy.

Me: checkered long sleeve blouse, jeans, cowboy boots and hat.

Adam: checkered shirt, maong pants, cowboy boots and hat.

And for the night gown, we used the costume that our classmates made for us. The crowds were all screaming when I and Adam came-out on stage. They we’re all like ‘GO FELDAM! GO FELDAM!” Well ‘FelDam’ means ‘Felicia and Adam’. They ship our names! Hahaha ;3

“For contestant number 7…….” (Yeah I’m contestant number 7 again) – The Host

“Here’s the question for you: They all said that you’re a singer and a song writer, right? So, why did you choose to sing and write than dancing, acting or other hobbies out there…?

My Answer:

I prefer singing and writing than any other hobbies out there. Because singing is like expressing. Singing is where you can express your feelings. When you’re mad, you always sing rock music. When you’re sad, you sing a heartbreaking song/s and when you’re in-love and inspired, you sing happy and romantic songs. In terms of writing, it inspires a lot of people, not just them but me too. Through those words, phrases and sentences came-out on my mouth can help other people out there. They can relate in every single stories I have on my own songs that I wrote. I am proud to be like these! And I will never be ashamed of. =))

“Woooohhhoo! FELICIA! FELLIE! FELIIE!” My classmates were all screaming.

“Aww, that’s a nice answer, contestant number seven.” The Host said while smiling.

Just like what I did, Adam answered the question to him properly. And the time has come… to announce the Mr. and Ms. Campus 2007…..

For the 1st place…. It’s… Contestant number seven and contestant number 13! Congratulations Mr. Adam Lopez and Ms. Felicia Miller!!!” – the host

So, we’re the 1st place! We may not be the champion. But I’m so happy. Because I shared my thoughts about my two favorite things to do, singing and writing songs. I’m so proud of myself. Really really proud. ;DD <333
