We were sitting in class before our math paper 1 for our prelims, and the OAS sheet was already distributed. Then, Mrs Chan (the math one) stood in the doorway and looked in.
"Yes?" Mr Sara, our invigilator, asked upon seeing her.
"No lah, I just want to talk to them," Mrs Chan said. "What's the expectation for Paper 1?" she quickly asked the class.
"Full marks," everyone replied dejectedly.
"Talk to them?" Mr Sara looked confused. "Already got papers on their tables you know!"
"But it only starts at 8.15 you know!" Mrs Chan persisted.
"But I already put the OAS on their tables! Any conversationcan wait until later lah!" Mr Sara said.
Mrs Chan cocked her head and then left the class.
After Mrs Chan was out of earshot, everyone giggled.
