Barton's Twin Sister

Chapter 8- New assignment

A/n: above is the kind of dog she will become for the assignment and well as the her vest for when she is working with the team out in the field. That is also the new dog at my local police department and his handler.

*Victoria Barton's pov* (14 months later)

It has been 14 months since the battle of New York. Since then I have been training with Natasha and Clint. We will do most missions together. Natasha told me that she was Natalia.

Fury has been having me train as much as I could with my powers. He has been telling me that he wants me to be on a mission so deep that I have to be a dog all the time. I'm not happy about it, nor is Clint and Natasha, but he said that it I was myself my cover would be blown as soon as I started.

When Fury called me in to office I was in the training room sparing with Clint and Natasha at the same time as a dog. We have been doing this to help us train in fighting against two people at the same time. Most of the time it is them against me, but sometimes it is me and one of them against the other.

"Agent Lynn, report to my office." Fury said in my earpiece. I dodged a kick from Natasha and bowed my head to show that I am done. Clint and Natasha back off and I transform back into myself.

"Fury wants me in his office." I told them grabbing all of my bag filled with my training gear. You would think that I just entered the room because of my jeans, because most people will wear yoga pants or their uniforms to increase movement. If I am training with my powers I were whatever I put on and bring my gym bag with my workout closes to change into I need to train as myself.

"You think you're getting your deep cover mission now?" Clint asked taking a drink from his water bottle.

"I don't know. He has not given me many details on it yet. Just that I need to keep training with my powers. He wants me to be able to stay as an animal for a long period of time." I tell him stealing his water bottle and taking a drink from it.

"Hey!" He said taking the bottle back.

"You better get going, Tori. You don't want to make him mad again." Natasha said reminding me of the time I made Fury mad before a mission and he made it a lot harder that it had to be.

I transformed back into a dog, a German shepherd. That if the most common dog I become at S.H.I.E.L.D. because it a powerful dog that is associated with law enforcement.

As I walked down the hallway past many agents, only the new ones take a second look. It is normal for me to walk down the halls as another animal, but I'm still not aloud to walk threw the halls as a predator.

When I get to Fury's office door, I bark to let him know that I'm outside his door and a dog. After I heard a faint "Come in", I opened the door with my paw and pushed it open with my nose. After I entered the room, I turned around and pushed it close.

When I turned around I saw a woman watching me with a confused look on her face. I sat in front of Fury's desk watching him.

"Lynn, would you be so kind as to resume your normal form." Fury said. I transformed back into myself with my bag on my shoulder.

"Agent Melinda May this is Agent Victoria Lynn." Fury said. May and I nod to each other in greeting. "You two will be working together on you new assignment. Agent May you will be Agents Lynn's handler and Lynn you will be May's dog. For this assignment it is imperative that you will never be seen as yourself or another animal. Agent Phil Coulson died before the battle of New York. Before he died we found a way to revive a mortally wounded avenger. He was assigned to find out the side effects of using the procedure. He found the side effects to be drastic and the only way to stop them is to totally remove the events from their memory. He deemed the project not able to go forward in testing. We have since stopped testing, but the equipment is still able to be used."
