When I saw her fall I felt the weirdest feeling inside. It hurt. I ran as fast as I could down the stairs. I got to her frail body in seconds. It wasn't fast enough. She passed out. I scooped her tiny figure up in my arms and I ran to the clinic. "Help!!" I yelled. The nurse came running. "Sh.....she fell off of the bleachers h..help her!" The nurse got out her phone. "Yes, there is a girl here at Nashville Mustang high school. She fell off of the bleachers. Yes? Okay. Thank you!" "The ambulance is coming, you will have to go with her while I call her family." "Okay." I said. When the ambulance got there I ran to the gurney and carefully laid her on there. "It's okay, baby, you are gonna be okay." I ran with the gurney and I got up in the back with her. I grabbed her hand and held it. Her skin was so soft. "It's okay." I said through tears. "Son you are going to have to hand her over." The doctors said when we got to the hospital. I hesitated at first but I knew what was best for her. I let them take her. Soon her parents got there. Her mom was in tears. "Mrs.Pritt, I'm Jason Williams, your daughters boyf.......her friend. I'm the one who brought her to the clinic." "Thank you!" She fell into my arms. "I just hope she's okay." I said. A doctor came out. "You can go see her now." I ran back there as fast as I could. Her parents didn't come back they didn't want to see her this way. I fell into the chair by her bed. I grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it. "Baby, wake up, please wake up!" Her eyes fluttered. "I like when you call me baby." She whispered. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Your awake!" "Yeah I am." "Thanks for helping me." "I'm just so glad your ok!" "Jessie, I know it's only been a day, but it feels like an eternity, Jess will you be my girlfriend?" "Of course!" She yelled. She leaned up and kissed me, really kissed me! I kissed back deepening the kiss. She was about to deepen it more when the door opened. I shot back but I held onto her hand. It was her dad. "Umm hello sir, uhh here's your daughter." I let go of her hand and stepped back. I probably looked like a tomato, she did. Her dad said that he was only checking in and he left. I sat down beside her on the bed. I chuckled. "Your cute when your embarrassed." She smacked my arm. "Owwie!" I said with a pouty face. She pulled me back so I was laying next to her. "Poor Cowboy! Did I hurt you?" I nodded and pointed to my lip. "Wight heooh." "Want me to kiss it baby?" I nodded. She leaned forward and kissed me. "Better?" She asked. "Never." She leaned in and kissed it again but softer and deeper. "Now?" "I guess." I pouted. She giggled and kissed me again. "They said I can go home today as long as I have someone to help me. Do you wanna help me? For 5 weeks?" "Yes yes yes yes!!!!" She giggled again. "Good!" I picked her up and sat her in the bathroom and brought her clothes. "Change!" She chuckled. "Okay okay!" She took her shirt off while I was standing right there! I think my jaw hit the floor. "What!?" She said as she put her other shirt on. "I....uh...wh....you....why?" "I trust you that you won't do anything to me so yeah!" " okay......." She dropped her pants and slid on her shorts. "Kay now I'm ready!" She said. I picked her up and carried her out to my truck. Her parents left. She winced when I sat her down. Her parents already checked her out of the hospital. "Baby? Are you okay?" "Yeah....." "I'll be fine....." "But you aren't right now." I said. I leaned in and kissed her.
