The Story About Them (A Klaroline Story)

Chapter 20

Katherine's POV

I was putting my sunglasses on and turned up the music in the radio. Right now I just had to get away from the Mystic Falls, and the towns near this area. The thing with Elena wasn't that bad, it was just a goodbye-joke. Now when they will find Elena again, I would be in another continent and they won't look for me. I knew their thoughts.

''Where are you actually going, Miss?''

The chauffeur asked me. I smiled to him.

''As I told you; a place near New York.''

I answered. He nodded but kept question me.

''Why?''

I rolled my eyes, and looked in his.

''Shut up, and drive me to New York!''

I said, but added

''Free, please?''

I smiled again, and he looked away.

''Uhm okay, miss?''

Now I could drive free, and safe to my new apartment where no one was bothering me.

Just when I was going to fall asleep I got a text.

'What are we going to do with the girl?'

It was Dylan who messaged me, about Elena.

'Keep her in the room, if its necessary just scare her or whatever. If some other vampire are coming, it's possible someone who's younger than you, so just fight them if you can. Compel Toby to keep fighting until he dies. I don't need him anymore'

Yes, I lied. The Salvatores or Caroline wasn't younger than Dylan. But if they was going to kill him he didn't run, cause he didn't knew he has no chances.

Elena's POV

''Anybody?! HELP!!!''

I was knocking on the door and it was now locked. My phone laid on the floor but the battery wasn't working. I was scared and I couldn't do anything. I took my phone once again. I could start it but I could call anyone or text anyone. I used the flashlight on it to see around in the room I was in. There was nothing in there. I walked towards the door again.

''Let me out!''

I knocked on it again and tried to opened the door. I couldn't but I kept trying. Why was this happening to me?!.

A few second after the door opened. I looked out. I could see one of the of the mens back, but it wasn't him who knocked me out before. I took a step closer to the man, but then he turned around.

His hand was going to hit me when I stepped back.

''Please.. Please don't hurt me.''

I said. He was looking at me, clearly didn't knew what to do. He stood there for a while looking at me. I couldn't move, cause I was scared of him. He didn't look like a vampire but you'll never know..

''What's happening Toby? Have she tried anything?''

I could hear the other one coming. Now I was scared.

''Yes.. What am I supposed to do with her?''

Toby said. He seemed confused, so now I knew he wasn't a vampire if he was he had hit me from the start. The other guy was standing right in front us now. I automatically took a step back.

''Well well, did you try to run?''

I shook my head so much that I hurt.

''I don't believe you. And Kathy told me that I can hurt you if you're trying to escape..''

He smirked. I gasped. Of course she said her name was Kathy it was almost Katherine but then not. She didn't wanted to tell her real name. Tricky..

''No.. Please don't hurt me''

I said scared.

''I'm sorry, but I will.''

He said softly. I shook me head. Just when he was about to bite me again he got pulled away from me. I could see who it was but I stepped back. The door was now open but I couldn't see it all. I could see some blonde hair I then I though of Caroline. Did they came to safe me?! I could see a shadow in front of me, and I though it was someone I knew.

When the person was getting closer I could see it was Toby. I knew he couldn't hurt me because of that he was human but then I saw what he was holding in his hands it was a long tree stake. Even if I wasn't a vampire I guessed he just wanted to be sure that I died. That though scared me. I was walking backward until I hit the wall or whatever it was.

No one was here right now. I knew Caroline was here and I though Damon was too, but maybe they was taking care of the real vampire. This man who was going to kill me now was a human and why couldn't I run away from a human? Oh well, maybe just because he have a thing that can knock me out.

Before I was done with my though he raised his hand with the stake and was going to hit me with it in my head. I looked scared at him and closed my eyes. A couple of second after that I opened them again. He was still standing in front of me, and when he was going to hit me someone came up behind him, and broke his neck. I took a deep breath. Toby fell to the floor and my hero walked towards me. When he was a meter away I could see it was Damon.

I walked to him in two steps and hugged him tight. I was so scared of what might happen to Caroline.

''The other one is dead too. You're okay''

Damon said. I sighed.

''Damon I was so scared"

I said, and sniffed.

''I know, I know. But it's over now okay?''

I nodded.

''Thank god you're okay!''

I could hear Caroline's voice. I pulled away from Damon and laughed nervously at her. I tried to hold the tears back that I'd held back the last couples of hours.

'We're all okay now. Lets go home''

Stefan said. He was here too!

Right now I was chocked but happy. I'd lost some blood and got a few bruises, so now I just wanted to go home and rest!

Klaus' POV

'Katherine didn't ran away, first she looked Elena in a cellar and then she left. Please make her understand the message next time.. Caroline'

It was the text from Caroline I'd received a few minutes ago. I answered it quickly.

'I will. Klaus'

I pressed send.
