"Why would we take two cars? If we're supposed to look like a couple, we arrive in the same car"

"Excuse me for not really wanting to be in a small smelly space with you, I'd like to take my car"

"But that makes no sense whatsoever"

"Couples travel together! Do you want this to look believable?"

"Honestly, no, not rea-"

"Just get in the bloody car woman"

"Excuse me?"

"Guys chill out" Ed's voice boomed over ours, causing our attention to turn to him. "It's easier and cheaper to take one car. Mel, baby, just go in his. The drive isn't even that long and it's just for a weekend. Plus there's plenty of space in the boot"

"Yeah for all of that crap you've got with you. Who takes 2 suitcases to a weekend-"

"Harry" Ed warned whilst I shoot him a glare, warning him not to finish his sentence. "Can you guys just get along for like, 2 days? That's all I'm asking. Then all of this can run smoothly, your parents don't suspect a thing, you then have a heartbreaking break up, and whoop dee do they get to meet me. Sound good?"

All that was heard from Harry and I was quiet mumbles, the two of us nodding our heads in answer to Ed.

"Good. Harry, load up the trunk whilst I say goodbye to my girlfriend" Harry began to do just so as Ed let out a long breath of relief, striding over to me and gently placing his hands on my hips.

"Sorry" I pouted, dragging my hands up his shoulders until my arms hung around his neck, pulling him closer to me so that our bodies were pressed against each other.

"Have fun babe, don't...please don't..." He looked down with his eyebrows turned downwards, his lips pouted and his eyes looking sad "please don't cheat on me" he mumbled as he slowly raised his head.

I lightly chuckled and pulled him closer so that I could whisper in his ear: "I promise".

When I pulled back, his nose nudged mine causing my head to tilt to the side before his lips met mine and he kissed me, holding me close as his way of saying goodbye.

"Harry" he said, pulling him in for one of their special man hugs as they both smiled with uncertainty until Ed pulled away and pointed a finger at him "lay a single had on her, I will bloody kill you"

"Yeah yeah whatever you say" Harry half laughed, seeming amused by the threat given by Ed as he patted him once on the shoulder and turned his attention to me.

"Darling, wonderful, baby, my most gorgeous incredibly lovely love of my life girlfriend, would you please, darling, muffin, get in the car, pumpkin?" He said with a smile, holding the door open for me. I simply rolled my eyes and slid in before he shut the door and joined me in the car in the drivers seat.

"I wish you wouldn't be so freaking annoying. It would make this trip a lot easier for me" I whined as we drove off onto the main road, the sickly smell of car air fresheners lingering in the air.

"Don't think I want to be doing this, I'm only doing it to help you and Ed out. I've got nothing better to do on my weekends now that Taylor pissed off back to America" I noticed his knuckles gradually turning white from his firm grip on the steering wheel as he spoke about her.
