Tao smiled brightly as he walked down the street from the bus stop to his shared apartment. Getting off work early. A bouquet of pink and white roses held tightly in his hands.

Officially today it would be seven-hundred days.

Tao thought it would be nice to surprise his boyfriend, and hopefully soon to be husband. The day was perfect; just him and Zhoumi. He couldn't ask for anything more then to spend the day with the one he loved.

He walked into the lobby of the building and headed for the elevator, eager to get to his apartment. As it showed up, people exited as he tried to push though, whispering 'Sorry' or 'Excuse me'. Tao was left alone in the small space elevator, watching as the number lit up and died down; until it finally make it to the tenth floor. Tao didn't waist anytime as the metal doors slid open. He rushed down the hall, trying to keep the camera that was around his neck from swinging and hitting him, and that backpack that bumped his back every time he took a step.

Tao dug into his pants pocket for his key and unlocked the door, and entered the black and white decor living room.

"Zhoumi?" Tao called, taking the camera that was hung around his neck off and laid it on the sofa, along with the heavy black backpack. "Honey, I got off work early. Are you here?" His ear perked to the sound of a door opening and closing, followed by a pattering of feet. "Zhoumi~" He called again for the other, walking to the end of the hallway to the shared bedroom. As he opens the door he paused, meeting a different set of eyes then the ones he was expecting to see.

The male in front of him was shirtless, struggling to put his pants on all the way. The unknown male shook from his shock before Tao and ran past him to the front door and left with a slam following. Zhoumi stood next to the bed, fully dressed in jeans and a shirt; that didn't belong to him. Tao stood there frozen, quickly stepping away, as his mind just went blank.

"Tao!" Zhoumi called following him down the hall, and grabbing him at the shoulders, only for Tao to smack them away and take a longer step back. He looked to the male in front of him. His heart growing heavy as it slowly broke. "Tao- I-"

"Get. Out." Tao demanded in a low tone, looking away from the electric eyes he fell for.

"Tao-"

"GET OUT!" He demanded again, yelling at the top of his lunges. "Just leave. And don't come back." Zhoumi didn't put up a fight. He just nodded, grabbed his coat and shoes and headed out the door.

Tao shook his head, throwing the flowers in his hand across the living room. He pushed his back to the wall behind him, slowly sliding down. Fighting back the tears that welded up in his eyes, burning to fall. He whipped his eyes, pulling his phone from his pocket and messily put in Luhan's number.

"Hey Tao! I thought you'd busy today-"

"L-Lu-Luhan." Tao cried. Finally breaking, letting the tears fall as fast as they came. Unable to properly talk as his hands started to shake.

"Tao?! Whats wrong?"

"I- He." Tao could no longer process. Why did this happen? Wasn't everything going great? Did he have a happy life? "Zhoumi he- He... cheated on me, Hyung..." As he realized the words falling from his mouth something in his chest cracked and turned to dust.

Tao sat out his apartment door, holding himself together as he waited for Luhan to show up. He didn't understand why. But, he didn't want to know why. He felt dirty, used, nothing. His heart pounded in his chest as he continued to think about his first love to be the first to break him.

"Tao." Luhan called, turning the corner to the hall as he spots Tao sitting on the floor with red puffy eyes, and dried tears on the side of his face. "Tao." Luhan rushed up to him, kneeling next to him, afraid to touch his as if he would shatter like glass. "I'm sorry." Tao shook his head, leaning to the side to lay his head on Luhan's chest, looking for some kind of comfort. "This is my fault. I'm sorry Tao." The older looked into the youngers eyes, to find a dark hole of pain and suffer.

He was the one that set them up. And knowing it wouldn't help the pain on Tao. He was okay with taking reasonability. He'd make it right, he new he would. He had to do something.

"Come on. Lets go to my house." Luhan held Tao close, walking the silent boy away from what felt like a crime scene.

*....*

Tao stayed with Luhan and Sehun for a awhile before finding a new apartment far away from what he once called a happy home in HongDae.

Tao looked around the white and light brown spring wood decor living room. That was finally finished after a days work. He sat in the leather love seat that faced the window, looking out the bay window that had the most perfect view of Seoul he had ever seen. And a good view of the building where he worked as a new photographer.

Before Tao could start working on the rest of the apartment and set up his green room, a loud knock called from the door. Loud enough for the whole floor to hear. Tao hurried and opened it to see Luhan and Sehun standing with smiles on their face. Sehun holding a white box with holes.

"Hey Tao." They greeted walking past said boy and sat on the leather sofa with it back to the wall. Sehun set the white box in front of them on the black coffee table.

"Hey...." He dragged, raising a brow, closing the door and stood in front of the couple with the coffee table between them. "Whats with the box?" The second he asked, the box shuttered and whimpered. Surprising the boy to jolt back and grab his pounding heart.

"Open and find out~" Luhan pleaded achiest to see Tao at the surprise in the box.

"Don't worry. It wont eat you." Sehun reassures jokingly. Tao rolled his eyes, slowly walked back to the coffee table, grabbing the lid of the box and lifted it.

"Oh my god..." He cooed, smiling at the cute pup in the box, panted with a smile and sparkling eyes. It barked cutely shaking its perfect white body, moving to the wall of the box and propped up to bark once again making Tao's heart flutter.

"Isn't she cute?" Luhan squealed. Tao nodded, softly picking the tiny animal up into his arms and cuddled her. She took close to Tao fast, licking his face to cover him in kisses making him giggle to the affection.

"She's perfect." Tao smiles, laying his forehead to hers.

"Whats should her name be?" Sehun asked, standing and petted her fluffy white fur.

"I don't know... Why not Candy?" Candy barked happily to her new name and kissed Tao thankfully. "I think she likes it."

"She a early birthday gift." Luhan stated, standing with the other two. "Of course were still going to go out and party for your twenty-first."

"Thanks Hyung, but I change my mind, I don't think going for drinks is a good idea." Tao shrugged, tickling Candy's tiny tummy.

"Oh come on Tao. You need to go out. Just a night of fun, like we use to do. Go out and party with us like you should. Don't mop. Please?" Tao rolled his eyes, looking to his friend.

Luhan felt guilty and he only wanted to see Tao happy. He needed it to know he fixed what he did wrong. Of course a small drinking party wouldn't be enough, but it could be a start.

Just one night of fun Tao. Thats what you need, just one free night to forget.
