How I got to where I am (Selena Gomez Fan Fiction)

Chapter 2

"I'm Selena" I replied to the friendly looking Demi.

"How old are you?" Demi asked me.

"Seven" I replied

"Me too" she said in an excited tone of voice.

We were waiting in the line for what felt like days.

However, me and Demi had been talking for ages now and she was such a nice girl. If I don't get the part I hope she does.

It was now Demi's turn to audition.

"Good Luck!" I shouted to her just before she got into the room. She turned around and smiled at me.

Now I was getting really nervous.

I wasn't really tha nervous before, I'm not quite sure why though. Even though, I am nervous now I can tell my mum is still more nervous because she's pacing back and forth and biting her nails. It was kind of funny to watch her.

Demi came out of the door and told me that I shouldn't be worried and that she bets that I'll do great.

Now it's my turn.

I walked into the read and 3 adults were sat down in front of me.

"Hello..?" One of the ladies spoke, not knowing my name yet but gesturing fo rme to tell her.

"Selena" I said, smiling. It was a lot less nervous now.

They asked me a few questions and we joked around a bit and then they gave me a script and told me to read out a few lines. I read them out and thried my best to put as much effort into my audition as I could.

They then told me I could leave and they'd make a decision soon. I handed them back the script and walked out with my mum.

"How do you think that went?" my mum asked me.

"Good" I said happily, quite impressed with myself.

On the way back home my mum told me that she would most likely get an email or letter saying if I got the part or not. She did say it may not come for a couple weeks though.. it depends how long it takes for them to make a decision. I really hope I get the part, it will be so much fun.
